Miranda Kerr's Beauty Secrets To Staying Flawless

Victoria Secret Angel model Miranda Kerr, ex-wife to actor Orlando Bloom and a mother to a 5 year old son, is known for looking flawless all the time. She is a holistic health practitioner with her own skincare brand, KORA Organics.

Some of her beauty tips are as follows : 

Warm lemon with water
Miranda drinks a glass of warm water with the juice of half an organic lemon each morning. Warm lemon water in the morning helps kick start the digestion process for the rest of the day. It is also a morning ritual that cleanses the system, boosts your immune system and balances pH levels because lemons are very alkalizing. They are also abundant in vitamin C, which promotes healing and health.

Exfoliate with a body brush
Miranda is a firm believer in dry body brushing. It is an invigorating way to aid circulation and lymphatic drainage, which helps with detoxification. Before showering, use a dry body brush with firm bristles and brush yourself from your legs upwards. It may hurt to do this at first, but you will find that it is a great way to exfoliate your body.

My take : I cheated. I used it on wet skin because the body brush is just too painful on dry skin. End result - smooth skin on thighs. Yes, I only used it on my thunder thighs, hoping to improve circulation, aid in lymphatic drainage and perhaps toned and smaller thighs. But well, yet to see results, mainly because I have not been doing it regularly. 




A diet of organic ingredients
Cold-pressed organic green juice, gluten-free toast, organic free-range eggs… the Australian model enjoys incorporating healthy options to her diet. Miranda believes that swapping non-organic foods for less chemical-laden versions will help to reduce the amount of toxins we put in our body.

Her green power smoothie is alkalizing and high in vitamins and minerals. Her recipe : 
The water from a young fresh coconut, half a glass of goat or almond milk, 1 tablespoon acai powder, 1 tablespoon goji berries, 1 tablespoon spirulina, 1 tablespoon raw cacao powder, 1 tablespoon maca powder, 1 tablespoon chia seeds, 1 tablespoon raw vegan protein powder, and 1 tablespoon of coconut oil.


Noni Juice
Derived from the Southeast Asian fruit of the Morinda citrifolia tree, Miranda attributes her beautiful complexion to its miracle juice. Touted to contain 177 vitamins and minerals, Miranda is believed to drink it every day.
