Product Description
CHOCK-FULL OF CELLULITE BUSTING INGREDIENTS!
Bursting with Collective Brewers’ organically grown antioxidant and caffeine-rich fresh espresso grounds, this scrub firms and tones skin while minimizing the appearance of cellulite with regular use.
A 120g size of Katfood Espresso Yourself Body Scrub retails for $26 but I managed to get it at $20.80 from the last Naiise sale. When I considered the usual price I paid for body scrubs, $26 is definitely not within my budget, especially for a 120g size. But if you think it in terms of its handmade fresh ingredients, then yes, probably one may be willing to pay.
A local brand, Katfood prides itself on being handmade freshly in small batches with no chemical preservatives. Each glass tub comes with concentrated scrub contents, in dark brown with a strong scent of espresso. Definitely a good wake-me-up scent, best for the mornings!
Each tub can only lasts for 3 months and I was surprised that it lasted me for a long while, despite being just a 120ml tub. Then again, it is also because, I only used it on the cellulite prone areas - thighs.
The espresso grounds are densely packed and as I scrubbed on my damp thighs, they tend to dribble and slipped down to the ground, making my bathroom floor a brown mess. But because each of the beads are pretty tiny, the wastage wasn't as serious as I thought.
Skin was left feeling smooth and soft to the touch. However, I didn't see much improvement to the back of my thighs but note that my exercise was almost non-existent due to recovering from a recent surgery. Hopefully, coupled with a good diet and exercise, the improvement can be seen.
