If you are a regular reader of my blog, you would know that I am a big fan of cleansing milks due to my sensitive, combination-dehydrated skin. I came across Eucerin DermatoCLEAN [HYALURON] Cleansing Milk when there was a 1 for 1 promotion in Guardian, so it was a great chance for me to try them out.

Packaging, Scent and Texture

Eucerin DermatoCLEAN [HYALURON] Cleansing Milk is housed in a 200ml pump bottle ( with a lock-twist mechanism ) that dispenses the runny white cleansing milk effortlessly. The texture is lightweight that feels more like a lotion and it has a naturally-occurring scent.

23.5°N Red Pearl Barley Brightening Gel Mask is a gel treatment designed to gently nourish the skin, reduce the appearance of fine lines and firm, smooth and retexturize the skin.

I purchased this gel mask together with 23.5°N Bamboo Ultra Hydrating Gel Mask sometime back. 

Hailing from Taiwan, 23.5°N mission is to “extract beauty from nature.” 23.5°N does this by sourcing a diverse array of crops from an astounding 368 of Taiwan’s townships throughout the year.

As soon as they are sourced from the origin, plants are sent to the extraction laboratory to preserve active ingredients and to avoid the degradation of freshness during the delivery process.

The name 23.5°N represents the latitude in which Taiwan lies and this unique geographical location is the reason why it is rich in all kinds of flowers, fruits, crops, and vegetables.

23.5°N believes in the philosophy of simple formulas that focus only on the highest quality ingredients essential to make a skincare product efficacious. Skincare products with complicated formulas are more prone to leaving skin in discomfort, hence they have focused on only using what is necessary such as concentrated essences of natural and gentle ingredients.

[ Review ] : MizuMi UV Water Defense, UV Water Serum

 

I purchased MizuMi UV Water Defense SPF 50+ PA++++ and MizuMi UV Water Serum SPF 50+ PA++++  100% non-chemical sunscreens when I was in Bangkok some time back. I was excited to try them after coming across their sunscreens on Instagram via Tanya at thelipstickfairy. Check out my previous review on MizuMi Smooth Cleansing Water.

Lets delve down to see how the sunscreens worked for me. 

MizuMi UV Water Defense SPF 50+ PA++++ is a 100% physical/mineral sunscreen with a light and comfortable texture, enriched with antioxidants. The lightweight formula glides on with a watery serum-like texture that’s quickly absorbed for a non-sticky, fresh feel. It is free from perfume, oil, alcohol, paraben or synthetic colour.   

It comes in a 30ml tube with a fitted orange cap. Unfortunately, I hated the scent which smells like a mixture of sunscreen and spoilt milk that made me wonder if mine was contaminated or had expired earlier than the stated date. It took me a long time to grow accustomed to its scent. 

 

I developed a zit 2 hours after application on my first use which was amazingly fast. Thank goodness, there were no more new zits thereafter.
