Performance and Ingredients
Marketed as a special care serum enriched with green tangerine extract, the Goodal Vita-C Dark Spot Care Serum is designed to deliver concentrated vitamin C benefits, targeting dark spots and skin dullness.
The vitamin C used in this lightweight serum, ascorbyl glucoside, is stable against light and non-irritating while high-performing. Combined with arbutin (natural skin brightener) and niacinamide (vitamin B), the Vita C serum works to provide long-lasting hydration and a brighter, more even skin tone.
The formula has a lightweight gel texture with a refreshing citrus scent, which spreads smoothly and feels pleasant on my combination skin type. After application, it left my skin feeling soft and smooth without the stickiness, and with consistent use, there's a gradual improvement on my dark spots and overall skin tone.
That said, it doesn't layer well with certain products:

My skin felt itchy when combined with Kiehl's Calendula Herbal-Extract Toner and Jumiso Snail Mucin 88 + Peptide Facial Cream.

It left my skin looking shiny when paired with I’m From Licorice Calming Cream.
- Pairing both serum and Dark Spot Cream felt heavy and left my skin looking greasy.
For sensitive skin types, do note that this serum contains Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavender) Oil, Citrus Limon (Lemon) Peel Oil, Citrus Aurantium Dulcis (Orange) Peel Oil which may cause skin sensitivity.

However, if you’re particular about product layering, it’s best to patch test and experiment with compatible moisturizers to ensure optimal comfort and results.
