After trying out 3M Nexcare™ Acne Patch, I was intrigued to try out the popular ones from Cosrx and promptly purchased Cosrx Acne Pimple Master Patch from my Korea trip last year.

Packaging, Scent and Texture

As I gotten older, I noticed that the occasional breakouts on my chin have become more stubborn and my usual go-to, Tea Tree Oil, no longer seems to do the trick.

Smaller patches don’t adhere as well when the pimple is bigger as they sometimes “dangle” at the edges and feel like they might come off (thankfully, that hasn’t actually happened yet!).
Performance-wise, this patch does an excellent job of flattening inflamed pimples overnight. It absorbs excess pus and oil while forming a protective barrier that prevents bacteria and finger contact, allowing the skin to heal faster and more cleanly. There’s always a quiet satisfaction when removing the patch in the morning seeing how much it has drawn out and how much flatter the pimple looks.
That said, it might not work with blind pimples or deep hormonal acne.

For best results, it’s important to apply the patch on dry skin after cleansing and skip any skincare on that spot, as skincare products can interfere with its adhesion and reduce its healing effectiveness.
