I have previously reviewed Andalou Naturals Apricot Probiotic Cleansing Milk, Andalou Naturals Instant Brightening Face Mask and Andalou Naturals Luminous Eye Serum where the cleansing milk became a favourite of mine and I repurchased it.
Andalou Naturals Instant Luminous Tumeric & Gold Clay Face Mask contains Tumeric which is one of the 8 Anti-aging Superfood To Look Younger and I was intrigued so into the cart, it goes.
Packaging, Scent and Texture
Made in USA with domestic and imported materials, Andalou Naturals Instant Luminous Tumeric & Gold Clay Face Mask comes in single pod use. Beige in colour, the light creamy texture is smooth and applies easily. The orange scent smells nice too.
How To Use :
Apply evenly to clean, damp or dry skin. Avoid eye and lip areas. Leave on for 10 minutes. Rinse clean with cool water.
Performance and Ingredients
Andalou Naturals Instant Luminous Turmeric & Gold Clay Face Mask comes in a 8g single use mask pod but the contents were too much for a 1 time usage so I separated it into 4-5 masking sessions with a thin layer each time as it was slightly drying for my skin type.
The face mask has a refreshing and a subtle stinging sensation for my first use and slightly drying for subsequent usages.
It can be used on both damp and dry skin and there was a tightening sensation 5 minutes into the masking session. The thin layer of mask dried up and disappeared into the skin thereafter.
Even though I love the end results - smaller and cleaner pores with bright, smooth and supple skin, it was slightly drying and there would be flakiness occasionally around the nose, causing slight redness on sides of nose where the broken capillaries were.
A hydrating mask is definitely needed to replenish the moisture back into skin.

To conclude, Andalou Naturals Instant Luminous Turmeric & Gold Clay Face Mask gave rise to smaller and cleaner pores with bright, smooth and supple skin, however, it was slightly drying and may not be suitable for those with sensitive and dry/dehydrated skin. A hydrating mask is recommended to replenish the moisture back to skin thereafter.
