Having been keen in Dr. Wu products for a long while, it was apt for me to purchase Dr. Wu Soothing Moisture Capsule Mask during the last 11.11 sale. My last Dr. Wu purchase was back in 2010.

Dr. Wu Soothing Moisture Capsule Mask comes in a box of 3 individually packed masks where each sheet mask is enveloped within 2 protective layers - 1 white plastic layer and 1 soft blue layer.

Using specialized technology to liquefy cotton essences, soft and fine cotton fibers are weaved into continuous, long micro-fibers by relying on the inherent natural adhesiveness of cotton fibers without using any additional adhesives. The result is a mask fabric that is smooth as silk.

Unique fabric cut is designed to adhere tighly to skin and achieve the best effects of releasing essences; feel its lightness and breathability on skin.
This cotton fabric is thin and very soft and comfortable on the skin with perfect fitting and adhere well to my cherubic face shape. It has a light scent which seems to come from the ingredients.
How To Use :
1) After cleansing, use mask on clean face
2) Leave on for 10-15 minutes and use 2-3 times a week
Performance and Ingredients
Dr. Wu Soothing Moisture Capsule Mask uses a capsule-like slow release technology where active ingredients are encapsulated in micro-capsules to penetrate the skin epidermis deeply, aiding consistent slow release of active ingredients within the deepest layers of skin and prolonging the effects.
Permeability is enhanced and effects of highly concentrated active ingredients are sustained, injecting skin with nutrients.
The Soothing Moisture Capsule Mask is said to elevate skin hydration levels for a healthy glow, soothe skin irritation, repair and improve skin dullness and prevent rough desquamation to maintain hydrated softness.
While I enjoyed the refreshing sensation during the mask session and how it calm and soothe the skin, there was a subtle taut sensation on the upper lips area after removing it. This happened for the first 2 sheet masks and thankfully I did not experience it for the last sheet mask.
Skin was moderately hydrated and has a healthy glow after the 3rd sheet mask. Not WOW for me to repurchase it.
Dr. Wu Soothing Moisture Capsule Mask contains the following key ingredients...
Vitamin B3 : Exhibits anti-inflammatory properties that helps to soothe the skin and promote skin rejuvenation and is effective in fading hyper-pigmentation and improving skin barrier functions.
Vitamin B5 : Provitamin B5 stabilizes the skin barrier function and reduces the amount of water lost through the skin, resulting in improvement of skin softness and elasticity.
Tinocare GL : Scleroglucan Polysaccharide is a member of the B-glucan family which has unique long-lasting moisturizing effects. Attract and retain hydration all through skin layers for long-lasting moisturizing. Continuous application can improve skin hydration and create softer, smoother, healthier skin.
Conclusion
To conclude, Dr. Wu Soothing Moisture Capsule Mask is refreshing and helped to calm and soothe the skin, however, there was a subtle taut sensation on the upper lips for the first 2 sheet masks but none for the 3rd masks.
Skin was moderately hydrated and has a healthy glow after the 3rd sheet mask. The experience wasn't spectacular for me to repurchase it.
