Product Description
Eye puffiness and dark circles are among the most common eye-area skin concerns but a repair eye cream can help smooth and brighten this delicate skin. For optimal results with minimal irritation, look for an eye cream with ceramides that replenish the skin’s natural barrier, hyaluronic acid to plump up fine lines with extra hydration and soothing niacinamide. It’s also important to use an ophthalmologist-tested product such as CeraVe Eye Repair Cream that has been recognized as safe for use around the eyes.
Benefits :
- Reduce the appearance of dark circles and eye puffiness
- Non-greasy, fast-absorbing formula
In 2005, CeraVe’s dermatologists developed a line of skincare products enriched with a blend of three essential ceramides (ceramides 1, 3, and 6-II), fatty acids, and other lipids to help repair and strengthen the skin’s natural barrier.
With the combination of ceramides and MVE, CeraVe was then launched and now boasts of having over 70 products and is widely known as the affordable, accessible, dermatologist-recommended solution to hydrate, restore, and replenish skin. CeraVe also received more Seal of Acceptance awards from the National Eczema Association than any other brand.
Its latest offering is the Eye Repair Cream which is the brand's first foray into the eye-area treatment market.

I purchased Cerave Eye Repair Cream from Iherb after reading rave reviews on Instagram and Amazon. It comes in a 15ml tube that dispenses the white gel-like contents that has a lightweight consistency that goes onto the skin without any greasiness. There is not much of a scent.
I usually tap the eye cream with my ring finger as it is said to provide the perfect amount of pressure.
Performance and Ingredients
Unfortunately, Cerave Eye Repair Cream did not work on me. I had used it for 6 months and depleted the product. It certainly felt too mild and gentle to counteract my undereye concerns - like dark circles, eye bags and fine lines.
There was a subtle refreshing sensation during application and it has a smooth texture so it may work to depuff slightly and smoothen the undereyeye area but its not effective on serious undereye issues like mine.
Adding on to it, there were tiny bumps under the eyes and near to crow feet area every 2-3 months which disappeared once I stopped using the product but reappeared after I started using it.
The product scored 3.2 from 130 users on Makeupalley.
In terms of ingredients, Cerave Eye Repair Cream contains a mixture of ingredients such as niacinamide, ceramides, hyaluronic acid and multiple skin-repairing ingredients—an array that helps skin look and act healthier as well as minimizing signs of aging.
Ceramides : Help replace lipid levels in damaged skin to repair, restore and maintain the skin's natural barrier.
Hyaluronic acid : An essential ingredient ( humectant ) that helps attract water to the top layer of skin, ensures that the skin remains hydrated and helps smooth the look of fine lines and wrinkles.

Conclusion
To conclude, Cerave Eye Repair Cream is a well-priced product with its good mixture of ingredients for healthy looking eyes but unfortunately, it did not work for me.
However, if you do not have serious undereye concerns like mine, it may just work for you!
