Review : Sephora Rose Hair Sleeping Mask

Sephora Rose Hair Sleeping Mask Review
Product Description
Sephora Rose Hair Sleeping Mask helps to smoothen and prevent frizzing while you sleep.

Several months ago, I purchased the Sephora Favourites Hair Saviours Kit and one of the products is the Rose Hair Sleeping Mask which I used it 3 days after a hair colouring roots touch up job. They have come up with a line of hair masks with targeted benefits to hydrate and repair hair while you sleep and each pack comes in a two-part kit that includes a cream mask on one end and a beautiful hair cap on the other end.

Coconut Mask: Nourishes and repairs hair fibers.
Shea Mask: Fortifies and helps to prevent breakage and split ends.
Rose Mask: Smooths and prevents frizzing.
Acai Mask: Protects colour and boosts radiance.

With 4 different types of hair masks, targeted to a specific hair concern, they are designed to be applied to dry hair, acting overnight, for better results. A hair cap is added to each pack so that it won't mess up your pillowcase and bedsheet while you sleep. And viola, you wake up with softer and more beautiful hair the next morning!

It works in a similar way as the Sephora Shea Hair Sleeping Mask except that I used it in the afternoon for 3 hours, instead of in the night as based on my experience with the Sephora Shea Hair Sleeping Mask, it would have affected my sleep.

Sephora Rose Hair Sleeping Mask Mask Cap

The hair cap is so pretty, with rose motifs and fit the theme of the Sephora Rose Hair Sleeping Mask.
I applied the cream all over my hair, emphasizing more on the ends as recommended. Wore the pretty cap and tuck in my hair into it and allow it to soak for about 3 hours while doing my work on the computer. I would love to have it soaked for a longer time, except that I forgot I had an appointment in the evening, so I have to rinse it off.

To me, I see these hair sleeping mask as a deep conditioning treatment at the comfort in my own house so I don't mind splurging on them every now and then, after a hair colouring, perming or rebonding job. And even if you do treatment regularly at the salon, it wouldn't hurt to do a one time conditioning boost at home, especially if you have very thick and unruly long tresses.

While I don't feel a difference during the rinsing part, but after my hair dries, I can feel and see that my hair is much softer and manageable.
