Review : Laneige Snow BB Soothing Cushion SPF 50+ PA+++

Product Description
A new-concept cushion-type BB with five active ingredients for Whitening + Sunscreen + Sweat-proof + Soothing + Makeup contained in the cushion to maximize the refreshing and soothing sensation. Every time you touch it, the air pump in the cushion contains air bubbles for thin and skin-friendly makeup.

Also, it is provided in two separate containers to preserve the active ingredients and their functionality.

I have friends who were raving on this product and always stock up on them so when I had a chance to redeem a sample from Laneige, I promptly did so. I got mine in No. 21 Natural Beige.

This is a rather unique BB cream that is slightly wet. It has 2 separate compartments - one for the sponge and one for the BB cream.

When you apply it, it feels refreshingly cooling on the skin with a light floral scent. The texture seems light and almost diluted but has a buildable coverage depending on the layers being applied. You also need to exert some pressure on the sponge to pick up sufficient "powder" from the soft cushion.

I would peg the coverage to be medium as it conceals pretty well. And because it does not feel greasy or heavy, I even use this on the undereye area which I usually steer away from, with BB cream.
The wet feel gives one the feeling that its lightweight but is not exactly so, on my combination skin.

On my face, it gives one a dewy and almost "shiny" glow, with good coverage to conceal most redness and blemishes. However, the oil control is pretty poor as my skin turns oily just before lunch and big angry zits appeared on my chin area by Day 2 which usually meant that the product is too rich for my skin.

While I like that it contains SPF 50 with PA+++, however unfortunately, this product just does not suit me at all.
