Product Description
Flawless skin starts here. This luxuriously silky primer will conceal redness, minimize the appearance of pores, help soften the look of fine lines and wrinkles and repel water to ensure makeup appears fresh all day long. Broad spectrum SPF 15 helps shield skin from the sun.
There were some raves on this product which made me pick it up from The States at US$52 during a work trip as I have a soft spot for oil-free products.
It is Paraben-free, Sulfate-free, Phthalate-free, Nanoparticle-free, Gluten-free and is without Synthetic Fragrances and Synthetic Dyes .
Packaged in a glass bottle with a pump dispenser, it exudes a luxury-like feel. The primer is white in colour but disappears into the skin without a trace after application.
Silicon-based, this primer adds a very smooth canvas to your skin, making your make-up applies better. Skin feels soft to the touch. Redness is reduced for several hours but came back again by mid-afternoon. On my skin, it reduces redness visibility for up to 6 hours. Shine is also kept to a minimum. I can't say the same for the pore size though as the effects are not apparent on my skin.
I like that it contains SPF though SPF15 is too little to be of any use under our local weather and in Greece but its good to be an added bonus on top of your regular sunscreen. Having Zinc Oxide and Titanium Dioxide for broad spectrum protection is definitely commendable.
I feel that this product makes my make-up stay better and longer, as compared to not using one.
It scored 3.8 from 223 users on Makeupalley and Paula gives the thumbs-up for this product.
