Review : Therapeutic Dermatologic Formula Skin Freshener

This toner was part of the exchange with Power C Firming Spritz. Even though it was relatively cheaper than the Spritz, I am fine with that because I am thankful to Ocean Health for their excellent flexibility and service.

Therapeutic Dermatologic Formula (TDF) is among the leading brand of dermatologist and aesthetic physician prescribed skincare, which offers a wide range of products that are superior in quality and efficacy, delivering visible results. It is also carried by my company doctor though he never tried to prescribe it to me.

As a toner, it has a slight citrus scent mixed with something else and it took some time for me to get used to it. Initially, I have some tiny breakouts when I started using it. I skipped this product for more than a month before getting back to it again. Thankfully, there were no breakouts thereafter.
It does not do anything much to my skin though. Did it really stabilize my skin's PH level? I cannot be sure as my skin have been in pretty good condition lately.

Review : Therapeutic Dermatologic Formula Hydrating Treatment Mask

I bought 3 items from this brand from Changi Pharmacy quite some time back. You may have read my review on their spritz which I did not quite like. However, I quite like their Vitamin C serum though.
I was hoping that this hydrating treatment mask would be good. My first usage was quite a disappointment and I subsquently dumped it aside in the fridge.
 
It did not help my dehydrated skin at all. A total flop was my opinion at that time. My mum experienced itchness when she tried it.
 
A few months ago, I decided to give it a chance again. Comes packaged in a tub, I am impressed with their hygiene factor as there is a lid with a spatula to scoop out the contents to be used. Pink, soft and creamy in texture, it layers onto the face like a breeze. However, I would still say that the hydration factor is pretty low but the good news is, my skin does feel supple and look slightly brighter.

The washing part is quite a hassle as its quite sticky to the face, almost like a clay mask so some cotton pads and water did the job for me.

I bought this from CGH , being my very first TDF purchase, quite some time back. However, I cannot stand the fragrance which was said to be citrus-scented. Its totally off.
I stopped using it because of the fragrance and only started using it back recently.

I actually stopped breathing when I sprayed it over my face, as part of a toner usage. Skin feels and looks refreshed but as for firming benefits, it may require a longer usage time in order to see it.
Its light orange to yellow colour and the spraying mist is not very fine hence it can be hard to control when trying to spray on my face as it came out in spritz by spritz.
I reviewed it today because I will be returning this product to Ocean Health early next week.

I wrote in to Ocean Health, as part of my concern for this product since I have not been using it for some time. I am concerned about its effectivness being reduced since Vitamin C is one of its ingredients.
A representative named Samantha called me within 1/2 hr after my feedback to its website. I was really impressed by their diligence and customer service.
She was very customer service-oriented and after I shared with her about not using the product after a few months, she was concerned that the product may not be that effective and suggested exchanging it for another product of a lower value.

I was pleasantly surprised and appreciate her gesture and thoughfulness. Hence, that is the reason why I am reviewing this product earlier than planned.
If not for the fragrance, I believe I will continue using this.

Review : Therapeutic Determalogic Formula C Scape Serum

The C Scape Serum by TDF ( Therapeutic Determalogic Formula ) contains Vitamin C (10% Ascorbyl Methyl Silanol ) which is essential for the production of collagen and elastic tissues that keeps the skin taut, supple and healthy.

Besides serving as an antioxidant to neutralize harmful free radicals, reduce lines and wrinkles in your sun-damaged or aging skin, C Scape Serum can also help to reduce the appearance of age spots and freckles, giving a lighter shade complexion.

Vitamin C, considered as one of the common ingredients in anti-wrinkle products stimulates collagen synthesis, heals devitalised skin and increases the strength of the underlying structural component of the skin.

According to Ocean Health, the C Scape Serum offers hydration and improves elasticity and skin firmness to create a more youthful and even toned complexion.

Do note that product have to stay chilled to prevent oxidization and once opened, it have to be discarded after 6 months.

I have been using this consistently for the past 3 months at night and have seen slight improvement in my slight pigmentation on the cheeks. It seems to have lightened abit.

However, where some users have commented that her skin have become firmer and pores become tighter, it did not happen to me. Have I become more radiant? I do not think so.

But colleagues have commented that my skin have become fairer.

Well, that, to me, is certainly good news.
