Product Description
The KLAIRS Rich Moist Soothing Cream is an all-year moisturizing cream made for battling sensitive skin through all seasons. For dry skin, it effectively restores the hydration balance to help stabilize the skin. For heated skin, it lowers the temperature to reduce redness and diminish the appearance of pores to make you comfortable in your own skin. Restore the balance in your skin with the gentle and sufficient KLAIRS Rich Moist Soothing Cream.
I received Klairs Rich Moist Soothing Cream as part of my 2nd Wishtrend Affiliate collaboration and I am really happy to have tried this moisturiser as its just *chef kiss*!
I went through several Klairs products and my favourites were Dear Klairs Freshly Juiced Vitamin Charging Serum and Dear Klairs Supple Preparation Facial Toner.
Packaging, Scent and Texture
Klairs Rich Moist Soothing Cream is a 80g product housed in a tube with minimalistic vibe. White in creamy consistency, it has no fragrance and applies smoothly on face.
How To Use
1) After cleansing, prep the skin with the toner and serum.
2) Lock in the nutrients with this soothing cream.
Performance and Ingredients
With a pH level of 7.11, this rich cream promotes immediate and long-term moisture through a nourishing formula for sensitive skin.
Enriched with yeast-derived beta glucan, jojoba oil, and ceramides, Klairs Rich Moist Soothing Cream works to strengthen your skin’s protective barrier, rescuing dry and irritated skin, while improving its natural cell repairing capabilities.
Beta Glucan works very well for me, so I guess that is why Klairs Rich Moist Soothing Cream was such a dream. If you also like Beta Glucan, you may consider trying Iunik Beta-Glucan Daily Moisture Cream which was in my Top 25 Beauty Empties I Loved in 2020.
Klairs Rich Moist Soothing Cream is gentle, yet nourishing, comforting and hydrating, without feeling heavy, oily or tacky on the skin, which I appreciate on my combination skin with dehydrated surface type in humid climate.
If there's redness on the skin, just slap a dollop on the area and wait for the redness to subside in 5 mins.
I also tried adding The Inkey List Vitamin C serum into the cream before use, to "neutralize" the sensitivity of the serum and it works nicely.
This cream pairs well with most serums and is reliable as a no-frills moisturiser but not on dehydrated skin days. Strangely, it tends to oxidise near the threads on the opening of the tube.
There were research studies that demonstrates that beta-glucan extract from yeast waste contains beneficial cosmeceutical properties including antioxidant, moisture retention and skin regeneration. It had a promising potential for use as an effective and economical cosmetic ingredient that can be applied in skincare especially for sensitive skin.
