Haruharu Wonder Black Rice Hyaluronic Toner comprises of two star ingredients: Fermented Black Rice and Hyaluronic Acid, which combine to boost skin with anti-aging and nourishing actives. Black rice protects skin against free radicals and helps promote skin cell turnover. Hyaluronic acid imparts hydration deep into skin, while added beta glucan and red ginseng extract heal and rejuvenate.

After emptying Dear Klairs Supple Preparation Facial Toner, it is time to move on to Haruharu Wonder Black Rice Hyaluronic Toner which was my second product from the brand, after Haruharu Wonder Black Rice Moisture Deep Cleansing Oil.
I received Haruharu Wonder Black Rice Hyaluronic Toner as part of a Stylekorean collaboration.
Haruharu is a vegan, cruelty-free, clean-clinical brand that uses only EWG Verified Green-rated safe ingredients. Formulas are 95% naturally derived ingredients and holds to a "less is more" philosophy.
Packaging, Scent and Texture
Haruharu Wonder Black Rice Hyaluronic Toner comes in a 150ml plastic bottle with a gradual tone colour. The toner has a clear watery texture with a cooling sensation and a subtle lavender scent. It is very tacky upon application that gets minimal after a short while.
How To Use :
After washing the face, wet a cotton pad with the toner, apply evenly across facial texture and pat to fully absorb it.
Performance and Ingredients
Haruharu Wonder Black Rice Hyaluronic Toner is a highly concentrated essence-type toner that nourishes and revitalizes skin with the potent goodness of fermented black rice ( 2000ppm ). Infused with the rich benefits of this fermented ingredient, the toner enhances skin texture, providing intense moisture and optimal hydration. Its water-like consistency ensures fast absorption, leaving your skin feeling soft, fresh, and thoroughly moisturized.
Formulated with a powerful combination of fermented rice extract, red ginseng extracts, and hyaluronic acid, this toner supports skin regeneration and enhances the skin's natural ability to renew itself.
Its patented technology "Ultra.Deep.Technology (U.D.T) enables fast delivery of ingredients deep into the skin.
I emptied this toner in about a month with twice daily usage. With a mild lavender scent, it is watery with a viscous consistency. It is very tacky upon application but the tackiness slowly reduced as the toner absorbs into skin, leaving soft and supple skin in its place.
Patting onto skin or using as lotion mask hydrates well but layering 3 times gives that soft bouncy deeply hydrated skin. On most days, I pour the toner onto a cotton pad and swipe all over the face.
That said, it does contain alcohol ( very low in the ingredient list ), fragrance and essential oil so beware if you are sensitive to it. And the PAO is 6 months which meant you need to use it up within 6 months after opening it.
I experienced itch around the face when I pair Black Rice Hyaluronic Toner with Geek & Gorgeous A-Game 10 and Rovectin Clear Lotus Water Cream but there was no issue when I used Heimish Matcha Biome Redness Relief Hydrating Toner with the same Geek & Gorgeous A-Game 10 and Rovectin Clear Lotus Water Cream.
The key ingredients are....
Oryza Sativa (Rice) Extract (2,000ppm) : Fermented Black Rice is rich in antioxidants ( such as polyphenols and flavonoids ), amino acids and peptides to improve skin elasticity, hydrate skin and reduce the appearance of dark spots and hyperpigmentation.
Phyllostachys Pubescens Shoot Bark Extract (2,000ppm) : Bamboo extract is known to contain various compounds, including flavones, glycosides, phenolic acids, and amino acids, which together provide antioxidant, skin-soothing, and astringent properties.
Hyaluronic Acid (600ppm) :Also known as "Moisture tank" as it draws in moisture 1,000 times of its weight. It helps maintain the necessary moisture for skin by preventing evaporation of moisture.

To conclude, Haruharu Wonder Black Rice Hyaluronic Toner is a hydrating toner which hydrates relatively well with patting onto skin or using as lotion mask but layering 3 times gives that soft bouncy deeply hydrated skin.
