Medicube Korea reached out for a paid collaboration some time back and sent over Medicube Triple Deep Whitening Gift Set and Medicube Deep Vita C Pad for an honest review for their products.
I first came across Medicube when I was in Korea in 2018, after noticing the brand being fronted by Yoo Jae Suk, the top emcee in Korea. Thereafter, I purchased Medicube Shining Toning Ringer Mask and Medicube Relax Calming Ringer Mask which was a 50% hit rate.
Shortly after, I managed to try Deep Vita C Ampoule for a brief period when a good friend of mine gifted one bottle to me.

How To Use :
1) After washing, use embossing side of pad to gently wipe facial skin from center to outward as a first step in skincare
2) Use opposite side of pad to wipe facial skin once more

Medicube Deep Vita C Pad is housed in a tub of 70 yellow essence-soaked round pads stacked upon each other. When you first received the tub, it is sealed for hygiene and efficacy of the pad which uses a ring-fill liner sealing paper.
I appreciate the thought that goes into it as it is easy to peel off for use, thereafter, add in the lid with a plastic tweezer for easy pick up of each pad in the tub. The lid with the tweezer is packed separately in the packaging.
Each pad has 2 sides - the smooth side is for radiance and hydration care while the the embossed side is for spots and blemish care. There is a subtle similar scent to that of Vita C Cream.
Use the smooth side on days when the skin feels dry and dull for that glow-boosting effect and use the embossed side where the small circular pattern wipes between skin and gentle takes care of skin texture. You can wipe it off like a toner pad, or layer on the desired spot for a quick spot treatment.
The yellow colour on the pads comes from the yellow pigment extracted from plants with hydrating effects but not to worry as the colour does not transfer to the face.
The pad is thin but sturdy and provides a convenient wipe-toss concept which is great for travels but may be considered as wasteful for those into sustainability. I usually use the embossed side first, for a light exfoliation, before switching it to the smooth side for that glow.
The immediate shine on skin isn't something my combination skin prefer but it is acceptable, since I follow up with the Vita C Ampoule and Vita C Cream thereafter. After 2 weeks of regular use, I noticed brighter and clearer skin which my dull skin appreciates.
According to Medicube, as skin ages and lacks hydration, dead skin cells failed to fall off, hence causing dark spots and blemishes. Research has shown that as skin ages, the amount of moisture decreases which affects the kin pigmentation index due to less kerantinization.

Vitamin C is well-known for its vulnerability against light and heat, which makes it so difficult to stabilize against oxidation and browning. However, Medicube uses Caffeic Acid derivatives to safely maximize its stabilization and these three compact shielding bottles to keep it protected from light, oxygen, and heat.
There is an illustration on the back of the box for one to jot down the date of opening which is a pretty nice touch from Medicube as I usually write the opened date on the bottle directly or on a white sticker pasted on it.

Medicube Deep Vita C Ampoule is said to treat current melanin discoloration ( visible blemishes and dark spots ), latent melanin discoloration ( future blemishes and dark spots ) and strengthens melanin resistance ( skin-protecting ability ). Sounds pretty awesome, eh?
Formulated with 13.5% stabilized pure Vitamin C, the water-based Medicube Deep Vita C Ampoule is said to fight off dark spots, pigmentation, fine lines and enhance natural skin radiance in as quick as just 7 days.
The colour is orange and the scent is pretty strong which can be unbearable to some but because I tried the ampoule before so the scent wasn't a surprise to me.
It has a lightweight-milky consistency that absorbs well into skin with a hint of tackiness. I used it like a serum and paired it with a moisturiser, and noticed a more even skin tone after 2 weeks of regular usage.
Do remember to use a sunscreen and note that the Medicube Deep Vita C Ampoule is not recommended to be used simultaneously with any other AHA/BHA based product in the same routine, such as Medicube Zero Pad.

Medicube Deep Vita C Cream is a 30ml product in an airless packaging with a pump dispenser as it increases the stabilization of Vitamin C by reducing contact with outside air and allows the product to be used hygienically until the end. You can also store the cream in the fridge for long lasting freshness.
Yellow-orange in colour, the cream has a thick consistency with a similar scent ( more subtle ) to that of the ampoule.
Formulated with 6.5% pure Vitamin C, Deep Vita C Cream has a smooth texture that is non-greasy and non-sticky which makes it easy for application on my combination-dehydrated skin type. It left my skin soft, smooth and moisturized the following morning. There was a subtle dewy-ness after application.

When Vita C Ampoule and Vita C Cream are used together, the rate of Vitamin is 20% and that’s the optimal absorption rate of pure vitamin C to your skin. If your skin can tolerate higher amount of Vitamin C, you can try using both products to see a difference to your skin clarity in a shorter time.
Unfortunately, due to my sensitive skin, I had some allergic reactions ( either itchy or red spots ) when I used both Ampoule and Cream daily for a week, hence I have separated both products to be used on different days and that worked pretty well for me.
Do note that the Medicube Deep Vita C Cream is not recommended to be used simultaneously with any other AHA/BHA based product in the same routine, such as Medicube Zero Pad. Also to add on, remember to use SPF before going outdoors as Vitamin C can make skin more sensitive to sunlight.

Medicube Deep Vita C Mask is made of a close-knit microfiber sheet that is 1/100 finer than a single hair strand and is soft and comfortable for layering on the face. Light yellow in colour with fully-soaked essence and a subtle scent ( similar to that of the ampoule and cream ), it adheres moderately well on skin with a larger cutout on the eye area.
After 20 minutes of masking, my skin looked radiant and was fresh-looking. However, there was a subtle taut sensation on the philtrum and my skin was slightly more sensitive as it stung when I follow up with my usual skincare products.
