Jumiso All Day Vitamin Serums Review

Jumiso Korea has reached out for a collaboration and sent out a trio of their Vitamin C serums, formulated for different skin concerns. They are Jumiso All Day Vitamin Brightening & Balancing Facial Serum, Jumiso All Day Vitamin VC-IP 1.0 Firming Serum and Jumiso All Day Vitamin Pure C 5.5 Glow Serum.

According to dermatologists, if there is one ingredient that needs to be part of everyone's skincare routine, that would be vitamin C. Vitamin C helps to brighten the skin, provide hydration, promote collagen production and protect against sun damage. Try to avoid using it near the corner of the mouth, under the eyes or at the corner of the nose, as these spots are slightly drier and could lead to irritation and pigmentation.

Since pure vitamin C is unstable, vitamin E helps to stabilize the formula. Vitamins C and E have antioxidant properties that protect the skin against UV damage and reduce sunburn. Adding ferulic acid improves the vitamin’s photoprotective capabilities and is great to use during the day. Use it with Hyaluronic Acid if you want more hydration.

At night, you can use it with Niacinamide for acne and dull skin as both repair the skin barrier. Vitamin C is unstable and oxidises quickly, so store it in a dark place and use it before the colour changes, or it becomes ineffective and can stain skin.

Always top your vitamin C with a moisturiser and sunscreen in the morning. If you use retinol, use vitamin C during the day and retinol at night, or alternate the products for nighttime use.

I have previously tried out Jumiso toners and sunscreens so its time to try out their highly raved serums!

Jumiso Brightening Serums Review

All 3 serums is packaged in a beautiful black box, with description of the products printed on the box, a card with my name and 3 product care cards explaining the use of each product as well as a card stating the clinical trials for the 2 new Vitamin C serums ( Jumiso VC-IP 1.0 Firming Serum and Jumiso Pure C 5.5 Glow Serum ).

I really appreciate the thoughtful touch that goes into this beautiful collaboration. Lets delve down to see if these serums are worth your consideration.

Jumiso All Day Vitamin Brightening & Balancing Facial Serum Review

Jumiso All Day Vitamin Brightening & Balancing Facial Serum is an antioxidant-rich vitamin C facial serum that brightens and balances, while protecting skin against oxidative damage throughout the day. It also contains Vitamin A, B, D, E and K to nourish skin and help in skin brightening, soothing and provide elasticity care.

How To Use :
After cleansing and toning, apply a thin layer on face and neck

Tip : Recommended for AM and PM use but be sure to apply sunscreen in the day.

Jumiso All Day Vitamin Brightening & Balancing Facial Serum Texture

Touted as a simple beginner-friendly vitamin serum for when you want to be done quickly on lazy days, Jumiso All Day Vitamin Brightening & Balancing Facial Serum is a naturally derived mild vitamin serum with 86.14% Vitamin Tree Extract to brighten, hydrate, improve dullness and even out skin tone.

Housed in a gorgeous orange glass dropper bottle in 30ml size, the serum is clear in colour, with a lightweight texture, lovely citrus scent and a subtle cooling sensation that left a hint of tackiness during application. After 1 -2 mins, the serum absorbed into skin, leaving the face soft and smooth.

I enjoyed using this serum very much, and when paired with the right hydrating products, this worked out pretty well for me, where my overall complexion looked healthier and less dull after 2 weeks of daily use.

The serum is not drying but the hydration is insufficient for my combination-dehydrated skin type and it does sting slightly on flakiness on my nostrils hence I prefer to use this serum prior to Venn Age-Response Compound K Hyaluronic Booster or The Organic Pharmacy Collagen Mask for that additional dose of hydration needed for my skin type.

It layers well with other products due to its lightweight texture. You can also pair it with Jumiso Waterfull range for those with dehydrated skin type or Jumiso Super Soothing range for those with sensitive skin type.

Do note that I use Jumiso All Day Vitamin Brightening & Balancing Facial Serum mainly in the night as I generally don't use Vitamin C serums in the mornings due to sun sensitivity issues.

This product is vegan certified and is free from essential oils, alcohol and fragrance. It has a PAO of 12 months and there is a small area on the back of the bottle stating "open date" where you can write the opened date for tracking purposes.

Jumiso All Day Vitamin VC-IP 1.0 Firming Serum Review

Jumiso All Day Vitamin VC-IP 1.0 Firming Serum is a skin-firming serum which contains bakuchiol, a plant-based alternative to retinol, to boost collagen production for a plump and youthful-looking appearance. This anti-aging serum also contains a Vitamin C derivative and Aronia extract for brightening and antioxidant benefits.

Jumiso All Day Vitamin VC-IP 1.0 Firming Serum Texture

Touted as a lightweight essence serum with stabilized VC-IP ( Vitamin C derivative ) to help fight signs of premature aging and boost collagen production, Jumiso All Day Vitamin VC-IP 1.0 Firming Serum brightens, improves dullness and firms skin.

Ascorbyl Tetraisopalmitate works with a retinol derivative, Bakuchiol, to stimulate collagen production to minimise the appearance of fine lines while brightening skin complexion. Ferulic Acid and Tocopherol add to the serum's brightening and antioxidant formula to fight free radicals and alleviate dullness. Nntioxidant-rich Aronia Fruit extract protects the skin barrier and leave the skin radiant.

Jumiso All Day Vitamin VC-IP 1.0 Firming Serum comes in a 30ml amber-coloured dropper bottle. Milky-white in colour, it has a subtle metallic scent with a milky-cloudy consistency.

It applies well on skin with a subtle cooling sensation and dries with a slight tackiness that takes awhile to be absorbed into skin, leaving it slightly smoother. However, it has an oily sheen on the face which I am not a fan of.

I noticed results after a month of regular usage where my skin appeared to be slightly firmer and hopefully, there will be even better visible results after emptying the bottle.

Based on clinical tests, All Day Vitamin VC-IP 1.0 Firming Serum has been proven to boost collagen production 2.6x with the comparison of another product cell sample without the addition of VC-IP. You can also pair it with Jumiso Waterfull range to aid absorption of active ingredients into skin or Jumiso Super Soothing range to relieve and calm irritation, redness and peeling.

This product is cruelty-free and free of essential oil, alcohol, artificial fragrance, parabens and mineral oil. It has a PAO of 12 months and there is a small area on the back of the bottle stating "open date" where you can write the opened date for tracking purposes.

A gentle reminder to avoid using with AHD, BHA, PHA and other exfoliants.

Jumiso All Day Vitamin Pure C 5.5 Glow Serum Review
Jumiso All Day Vitamin Pure C 5.5 Glow Serum is a brightening serum formulated with antioxidant-rich Vitamin C, Alpha Arbutin and Tocopherol to even skin tone and fade dark spots. Also enriched with black chokeberry extract to minimize irritation and soothe skin. Proven to fade dark spots by 30% in two weeks.

How To Use
After cleansing and toning, apply a thin layer on face and neck

Tip : Recommended to keep in fridge and do not use if the product turns dark. Can be used AM and PM use but be sure to apply sunscreen in the day.

Jumiso All Day Vitamin Pure C 5.5 Glow Serum Texture

Touted to power up lackluster skin with this mildly acidic pH value of 3.95 serum containing pure Vitamin C, together with an array of brightening ingredients to shield against free radicals and leave skin brighter, Jumiso All Day Vitamin Pure C 5.5 Glow Serum features 5.5% Pure Vitamin C, a powerful antioxidant that brightens skin complexion, while Ascorbyl Glucoside boosts its absorption to help minimise the appearance of dark spots. Additional brightening and antioxidant effects from Alpha Arbutin, Tocopherol and Ferulic Acid with antioxidant-rich Aronia Fruit Extract to minimise skin sensitivity and increase Vitamin C stabilization.

Jumiso All Day Vitamin Pure C 5.5 Glow Serum is housed in an opaque dropper bottle with 30ml contents. It has a metallic scent and has a slight oily consistency which isn't something my combination-dehydrated skin prefers, but thankfully, the serum sinks into skin pretty quickly without leaving an oily sheen with the tackiness disappearing after 1 - 2 mins and skin felt so soft, smooth and supple.

I am happy to report a healthy glow on skin after 2 weeks of regular use, without any irritation, despite being a pure Vitamin C. It is well-formulated for sensitive skin.

Based on clinical results, there was a 17% decrease after 1 week and 30% decrease after 2 weeks in post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation so for those battling with PIH, don't lose hope. For the uninitiated, post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH in short) are flat spots of discolouration caused by inflammation or injury. You can pair it with Jumiso Waterfull range to aid absorption of active ingredients into skin or Jumiso Super Soothing range to relieve and calm irritation, redness and peeling.

This serum is free of essential oil, fragrance and parabens with a short PAO of 3 months. There is a small area on the back of the bottle stating "open date" where you can write the opened date for tracking purposes.

It is recommended to store the product in a fridge to maintain the freshness of Vitamin C and a gentle reminder to avoid using with AHD, BHA, PHA and other exfoliants.
