Gallinée Face Mask & Scrub combines a purifying mask and exfoliating scrub as the founder, Marie, believes that this product is great for lazy or time-poor people where this 2 in 1 mask and scrub rinses like a dream and left skin soft and never dry. 

Rich in gentle exfoliating particles and purifying white clay, this product is recommended for acne-prone skin as well as dull skin.

Packaging, Scent and Texture

Gallinée Face Mask & Scrub is packed in a 100ml tube where it gets tougher to get the contents out nearer the end. Beige in colour, it has a floral scent and the creamy clay mask & scrub has tiny exfoliating particles ( Olive Seed Powder ) in it. 

How To Use :

1) Squeeze a coin-sized amount into the palm of your hand, then massage gently onto damp skin.

2) Leave on the skin for 5 minutes before rinsing off with water, then pat skin dry.

Tip : For best results, use once or twice a week.

Gallinée Face Mask & Scrub provides the skin with an instant radiance boost by delicately exfoliating the skin and stimulating microcirculation. Skin is said to be visibly smoother, healthier and fresher, with a clearer, more radiant complexion and a refined texture.

An innovative biotic complex contains lactic acid to help smooth the skin and prebiotics to nourish your skin’s protective ecosystem - the microbiome. This biotic complex is combined with a high-performance formula containing mattifying and purifying kaolin white clay, revitalizing sea minerals and antioxidant vitamin E.

It did make my skin super soft and smooth, however, it was also slightly abrasive and drying with a subtle taut sensation after rinsing off. Adding on, there were random red patches on the nose and cheeks occasionally. The effects from using it either as a scrub or mask seem the same. 

Gallinée Face Mask & Scrub doesn’t contain colourants, SLS, parabens, mineral oils, silicones, microbeads, phenoxyethanol or methylisothiazolinone.

Do note that its best to use the product in the evening but if you use it in the day, do remember to wear sunscreen as AHAs may cause your skin to be more sun-sensitive. And also avoid mixing lactic acid with other acids, exfoliants and retinol to prevent any potential skin irritation. If you have sensitive skin, please do a patch test.

Conclusion

To conclude, Gallinée Face Mask & Scrub left my skin super soft and smooth, however, it was also slightly abrasive and drying with a subtle taut sensation after rinsing off. Adding on, there were random red patches on the nose and cheeks occasionally.
