Packaging and Scent
Forest Beauty Hydrating & Conditioning Cleansing Wipe comes in a bright and cheerful yellow coloured travel-friendly pack with 12 disposable and composable ( breakdown in the compost or in trash ) cleansing sheets. Each 100% cotton sheet is like an extra-large size cotton towelette which is more than enough to clean the whole face of makeup, without the need for another sheet.
The resealable sticker on the opening is a life-saviour to maintain the moistness of the remaining sheets in the pack and making sure that they still stay put and clean without allowing bacteria to come in.
With just 12 sheets, the packaging is travel-friendly, lightweight and easy to bring along on trips and staycations. Say bye bye to that heavy bottle of makeup remover, fear of spillage and extra space needed for cotton pads during travelling.
It does contain some fragrance but not overpowering, however, if you are allergic to any fragrances/scents, just take note of it.
How To Use :
1. Close your eyes and place the towelette over your face and let it sit there for a few seconds.
2. Wipe in order. Take a towelette and starting at the top of your forehead, move downwards to finish at the jaw and neck area, leaving the nose for last.
3. Use medium pressure and wipe in a long, downward motions. Be extra gentle around the eyes as this is a delicate area so it’s best to pat from the outside in.
Texture, Performance and Ingredients :
Vegan, cruelty free, alcohol free, paraben-free, phthalates free, chemical free from fluorescent and whitening agent and methylisothiazolinone (MI)/ methylchloroisothiazolinone (MCI) free, Forest Beauty Hydrating & Conditioning Cleansing Wipe uses natural plant extracts with high concentration of active formula and is said to leave no traces of grease on the skin while rapidly removing even heavy or water-resistant make-up.
Suitable for all skin types. each cleansing wipe is sized at about 20 x 15cm with a medium thickness that is neither too sheer/thin nor too thick and stiff. It is sturdy, moist and does not tear easily. I also like that the texture is not abrasive but has a soft texture which is suitable for delicate skin.
I use it on days when I wear minimal and full makeup and the the cleansing wipe was able to remove my BB cream, loose powder, blusher, highlighter, mascara, eyeliner and eyeshadows pretty effectively, except for some slight eyeliner remnants which I cleaned up easily with a cotton bud. That said, I did not use waterproof mascara and eyeliner so I cannot attest to its effectiveness for those.
After cleansing off my make-up with the cleansing wipe, there was no stickiness, greasiness, residue or tautness, instead, my skin is left feeling soft, smooth, supple and clean. At just $3.90 for 12 sheets, this is indeed an affordable makeup removal sheet.
