For Beloved One is widely recognized for their special bio cellulose material ( waterproof and air permeable ) on their sheet masks to help ingredients penetrate effectively.
Now they have rolled out a sister brand - For Beloved Girl, a more affordable range and targeted at a younger audience, however, according to its founder, Margaret Wu, the material and ingredients do work on all age groups and skin type.
They come in 6 types :
Thirsty, dry skin (Ca): See your skin become softer and clearer with Calcium Lactate as it softens dead skin to enhance pore cleansing efficiency, accelerating skin metabolism.
Skin with enlarged pores (Na): Get non-stop hydration with Sodium Hyaluronate for extreme moisture around the clock, fortifying skin function and soothing fatigued skin.
Dull, uneven skin (Fe): Give your skin that natural rosy, bright glow with Ferric Citrate as it activates brightening mechanisms, eliminates dullness and restore flawless skin from within.
The puffy, saggy face (V): Providing the skin with a revitalising boost, invigorate your skin with Potassium Chloride to eliminate excessive water retention. Say goodbye to puffy skin!
Oily, combination skin (Zn): Control that oil shine with Zinc Gluconate which regulates oil secretion and restores the perfect hydro-lipidd balance to skin.
Aging, fatigued skin (Cu): Copper gluconate, along with soy protein, make perfect partners for creating plumpness from deep within the skin while smoothing fine lines, bringing ultimate hydration and repair to aging or fatigued skin.
The one I owned is the FE type - for dull uneven skin, which is just perfect for me. Brightening masks are always a welcome treat in our sunny Singapore.
The translucent material of For Beloved Girl Flawless Brightening Mineral Cloud-Silk Mask is lightweight and thin, in order to allow for complete infusion deep into the skin. It is said that the material came from the fibre of corn seed with perfect elasticity like cotton and the stretching of the mask can provide a lifting effect.
The mask fits over my face contours snugly but the eye area cutouts are slightly larger than preferred while the whole mask does not stretch all the way to cover all areas of my face. Then again, I have a large face. *sobs*
Back in late June, I knew that I was required to attend a family wedding event in Bali, so these 3 masks were put to good use - before, during and after the wedding. 3 sheets. Perfect.
They truly impressed me. Before the wedding event, I wanted my skin to feel moisturised and less tired. On the actual day, just before attending the event, I wanted radiance on my skin. And after I am back to Singapore, I needed brightening and hydration for my skin ( since I have travelled around, under the sun in Bali and slept in air-conditioned room for 4 nights ).
