The Fresh Beauty Market Cellulite Butter has a whipped butter-like texture. Light yellow in colour, it also gives off a sweet orange scent. Raw and natural, the cellulite butter received rave reviews after appearing on The Dr. Oz Show, an American television talk show, hosted by Mehmet Oz, a cardiothoracic surgeon and a teaching professor at Columbia Univerity. However, the show also has its fair share of criticisms from the medical community where a study has found that 54% of the health recommendations were not medically supported.
I came across this product on Iherb while searching for some cellulite busting products. The rave reviews prompted me to try it. Despite being petite, I have a pear-shaped figure and any weight gain will usually add on to my lower body. I dislike seeing cellulite on the back of my thighs and was hoping that the cellulite butter can help to minimize the appearance.
The product description on the tub states that using it 3 times daily can help to reduce cellulite and scarring. It can also be used as a night cream to reduce wrinkles. It fights free radicals and promotes the natural production of collagen and elastin and can be used on both body and face.
Seems like you just need this product to fight fats and old age. Heh.
The butter seems greasy but is easy to apply because its just so soft like real butter. It takes a while to get absorbed into the skin, so may leave stains on the chair in the meantime.
Unfortunately, I am not that diligent to use it 3 times a day. The morning rush hour forbides me to use it, since it may get onto my jeans. I usually prefer to use it after exercising or on days where I will walk more than normal. I thought results will be more visible in this way.
I also complement it with a coffee body scrub like Handmade Heroes Butt Kickin' Deep Detox but well, my cellulite appearance is still going strong after 2 months. Probably if I use it the way they recommended, I may have a better result.
