Product Description
Made from witch hazel distillate, vegetable glycerine and a splash of cleansing grain alcohol.
A gentle yet effective way to help minimize enlarged pores, soothe inflamed skin and combat oiliness, leaving your skin feeling fresh and toned
I purchased the Balm Balm Mini Organic Facial Kit from Lovelula which was a great way for me as a first time user, to try out their popular products.
Unlike what the description says, there is no cleanser in my kit, but 2 rosehip serums instead.
The kit comprises of Witch Hazel Toner 15ml, Rosehip Serum 10ml, Hibiscus Face Mask 4g and Organic Muslim Cloth.
Balm Balm, hailing from UK is said to be 100% organic and is free from parabens, SLS's and preservatives. All Balm Balm ingredients are certified Organic by The Soil Association and they use only responsible eco packaging.
Inspired by a traditional Native American remedy that soothes and refreshes the skin, this product uses a short ingredient list with Witch Hazel as the key ingredient that is known as a traditional remedy rashes, insect bites, bruises, minor cuts and all manner of skin irritations. This remarkable natural astringent has also been proven to refresh the skin and lock in moisture.
I don't really fancy using Witch Hazel because it is usually recommended for oily skin and in the ingredient list, it comprises of alcohol as its 3rd ingredient which is an absolute no-no for me. While I don't have adverse effects in using this toner but the alcohol scent is pretty strong and with long term usage, I believe it may be too drying for my skin. I like that it has a short ingredient list though.
