Product Description
Brightens complexion. Uncovers natural radiance. Evens out skin-tone. It is a breakthrough brightening serum that visibly brightens the skin.
Formulated with Ginkgo Biloba plus NW Technology, a unique botanical complex featuring Mint Extract, this breakthrough serum targets damaged surface cells to reduce the appearance of dark spots, even the most visible ones.
I had this product for a while so I thought its time to do a review on it. It has since been discontinued and replaced by other products. The thing about whitening products, is that it takes time, diligence and effort and especially since its so expensive, we desperately wants it to work on those damned spots. lol.
Spot correcting serums takes a long time for me to completely used it up since you only need a small amount so I have decided to use it all over the face as a serum before moisturiser with a double dosage on the slight pigmentation spots on the cheeks.
With more than 4 months of usage, this product is finally working. Slowly but truly. It retails for US$90 for a 30ml size, but I got it cheaper when I was in the States sometime back. In fact there was a factory outlet in Las Vegas for several Lancome products so I took the chance to haul some of the more expensive products for my mum and myself.
The slight pigmentation spots on my cheeks did fade slightly but you really have to be diligent in the sheer effort of application as well as staring hard enough at the spots to see the subtle difference.
It has a nice scent and the texture is pretty runny. In fact, the contents just come running out with just an upside down of the tube, thats how runny it is.
In terms of ingredients, I am glad to see that the 4th ingredient is Ascorbyl Glucoside, which is a form of stable Vitamin C.
