Review : Adin Collagen Essence Mask

Product Description
Enriched with collagen in high concentration, which is the essential element for making skin eleastic and moist, it makes the skin healthy and smooth while improving skin elasticity. Formulated with Vitamin E, collagen and Hyaluronic Acid, it maks the skin moist and elastic and also reduces tension in the stressed skin and has astringent effect. It is especially suitable for use when special care is needed such as when the skin looks dull or dry, it comforts skin through providing nutrition and moisture immediately as as well as calming.

A close colleague of mine passed 2 sheets of this mask to me, as she found it to be pretty efffective on her skin. She bought it at quite an affordable price in Hong Kong, if I remembered correctly.

The material of the sheet is very soft, too soft, in my personal opinion, thats its totally 'collapsable', if there's such a word. Its very wet and adhere to the skin very well, probably due to its 'collapsable' material and its sticky wet essence.

During my first sheet usage in the first week, I was not WOWed by it, but during the second week, when my skin has some flaking bits, I saw the effect almost immediately after removing the sheet.
It moisturised my skin very well such that all the flaking bits have disappeared. I was definitely impressed.

But atlas, the impressive effects were temporary as the next morning, I saw some flakiness back again, but its definitely much better than not using the mask. Not all flakiness were back, but its definitely in better condition.

Thanks for the information on the harmful ingredients. speaking of harmful ingredients, reminds me to avoid a bad sunscreen ingredient called oxybenzone. do avoid this sunscreen ingredient, that's what my beautician told me, i am no sun expert but i guess there must be some truth to it.

Hi Tiffany,
Nice to hear from you again. And thanks for sharing.
Hey, your beautician is indeed knowledgeable, which salon did you patronise, if you don't mind sharing?
Moving forward, lets try to look for zinc oxide and titanium dioxide in our sunscreens. :)

Hi Agnes,
I went to the dermalogica :) i went for sensitive skin treatment mainly for skin hydration steaming (sorry i don't really know the exact science but mainly use of steam to hydrate skin) and to curb skin redness. each session costs me like $180 and it's killing my pocket so after 2nd my skin has no more redness or itchiness. frankly i don't think it's like very fantastic because at the same time, i also went to get some skin rashes cream from the pasir ris clinic and i think it's the prescribed cream that help actually.

Hi Tiffany,
Leonard Drake, you meant? Actually I was impressed when I see how my sister's skin improved by leaps and bounds and now her skin is even better than mine when it used to be plaqued with zits easily. Nowadays she hardly get any zits. However, when I went for my first facial trial, somehow it does not have the WOW effect, it just seems normal but I still use some of the dermalogica products as I like them.
Oh, so your redness is due to rashs and not skin sensitivity?
I see, then you can stop that cream since your redness has subsided.

Hi Agnes
good day, yes i meant Leonard Drake :) not all have positive effect from facial, i know from a good friend's sister her face broke our badly after her facial in Leonard Drake, i never like extraction; after i have done for my first time in my life, it hurts like crazy. haha i might exaggerate and surely i can bear the pain just that what concern me is i read somewhere before extraction (sorry i forgot the exact source, think it's a famous brand philosophy in facial that they don't believe in extraction, think it's shiseido? or something) so ya, that's why.

do you mean your sister went to Leonard Drake too? wow, if yes, it surely works for me, congrats! :)

yes due to rashes :) plus my family skin is more of sensitive skin so the weather humidity can causes rashes if we run errands in town :x
