Review : Estee Lauder Cyber White Ex Extra Intensive UV Protector SPF50/PA+++

Product Description
Extra gentle and fast-absorbing. Ensures a brighter, flawless future for your skin. Empowered with anti-oxidant protection and anti-irritants.

This 15ml sunscreen was one of the complimentary gifts when I bought Estee Lauder products quite some time ago. I am quite impressed that it boast of quite high sun protection factor and with PA+++ too.

As you may know, SPF refers to the amount of protection from UVB rays which causes burning on the skin.
PA protects against UVA rays which causes aging. Hence the more "plus" on the PA refers to a better sunscreen protection against UVA rays.

In this sunscreen, I can see that I will be in safe hands since it has SPF50 and PA+++. However, usually such sunscreens tends to fall into the greasy texture category so how does this UV protector fares then?

The texture is surprisingly less greasy than what I would have associated with SPF50. It falls between light to medium greasy texture. However the scent is geared towards the sunblock fragrance which can be a huge turn-off for some people.

It does not absorb into the skin that fast, leaving a sticky film after my moisturiser for a while. Oh, but there is no white cast though, if thats your concern.

However, its not on my list of favourite sunscreen though, as I still prefer something that is lightweight and without any greasy or sticky feel but I definitely do feel reassured by its high protection factor.
