Review on Dermalogica Chroma White Extreme C

Product Description
Dermalogica Extreme C is a unique powder-to-emulsion treatment which delivers a high concentration of Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate (MAP) combined with brightening agents and exfoliants to optimise skin clarity. Glides gently over skin or can be blended with your presribed Dermalogica Moisturiser. Contains no artifical colour and fragrance.

Key Ingredients
Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate (MAP) : a non acidic stable form of Vitamin C helps inhibit melanin formation.
Antioxidant Camellia Sinensis (White Tea) Extract : accelerates skin brightening and strengthens skin's defences against future dicolouration on a cellular level.
Zinc Glycinate : stimulates formation of an antioxidant protein that binds Copper, thereby inhibitng Tyrosinase.
Niacinamide and Glucosamine : prevent transfer of melanosomes to keratinocytes.
Glucosamine, Algae Extract, Yeast Extract and Lactobacillus/Pumpkin Fruit Ferment : exfoliate surface cells to smooth, enhance skin tone and eliminate dark spots.

Containing Vitamin C to brighten, lighten and tone the skin, white tea to fight free-radical damage and sodium hyaluronate to bind moisture to the skin, this product seems to be on its way to making a big difference to the skin.

A little goes a long way as a pea-sized amount of powder is recommended to be used with the moistsuriser. It can also be used as a spot treatment but so far, I only used it to mix in with Dermalogica Active Moist.

After the mix-in, the texture looks almost like "mochi", sticky paste but its actually not that sticky when applied to the face. It does not affect the texture of Active Moist if you use the correct amount in ratio with respect to the moisturiser. It spreads easily and gets absorbed into the skin easily without any gritty feel of the powder.

In combination with the Estee Lauder Cyber White Extra Brightening Moisture Cream which I was using as a night cream, someone whom I have not seen for the past 2 months have recently commented that I looked fairer.

If you have normal skin, adding this Extreme C upped the benefits of Active Moist, since you can have both the hydrating and whitening properties in your moisturiser.
