The Fundamental Nourishing Eye Butter has been renewed with an updated design while the product's formula remains the same. The one I received was an older design as I have been using it for awhile, gifted during a Wishtrend collaboration.
Packaging, Scent and Texture
Dear Klairs Fundamental Nourishing Eye Butter is a slim portable travel-friendly tube with 20g of contents. The lightweight smooth buttery formula applies well and absorbed easily with a subtle cooling sensation and tackiness. There is no fragrance detected.
How To Use :
1) Apply toner after cleansing.
2) At your moisturizer step, apply an adequate amount of the product around your eyes.
3) Finish your routine with a face moisturizer.
Tip : You can also apply it on other areas (neck, nasolabial folds, etc.) to improve fine lines and elasticity.

Dear Klairs Fundamental Nourishing Eye Butter contains sunflower seed oil that’s rich in vitamin A and vitamin E to protect the thin skin around your eyes and while peptides (Acetyl Hexapeptide-8, Copper Tripeptide-1, Oligopeptide-29, Oligopeptides-32) improve fine lines.
It is said to be suitable for everyone even with milia concern, as the soft butter-like texture helps the product absorbed quickly. It's rich enough without being oily so Klairs recommends it to oily skin types and people who are mindful of overly rich eye creams.
Unlike for my face, I prefer my eye treatment products to be richer and nourishing as I have many eye concerns - dark circles, eye bags, fine lines...almost all that you could think of, but the product cannot be greasy due to the humid climate I am staying in as well as the worrying concern that it might cause milia seeds.
Dear Klairs Fundamental Nourishing Eye Butter has a soft buttery texture which I adore as it is not heavy or greasy and definitely not the clogging eye butter that one was expecting upon hearing the name.

The key ingredients are....
Acetyl Hexapeptide-8 : Also known as a Argireline, it has water-binding properties and skin-restoring abilities that play roles in helping skin look and feel younger. Helps to stimulate collagen which strengthens the skin’s structure, decreases aging wrinkles and effectively enhances firmness and elasticity.
Copper Tripeptide-1 : Made up of three amino acids (glycine, histidine, and lysine) combined with the mineral copper to condition skin, support collagen and elastin production, provide antioxidant and skin-soothing benefits. Study has demonstrated that the ingredient helps to increase collagen and reduce visible signs of aging.
Oligopeptide-29 : A synthetic peptide containing 12 amino acids consisting of alanine, arginine, histidine, leucine, lysine, proline and serine to improve skin elasticity. Study has demonstrated an improvement in number and width of wrinkles as well as skin brightness.
Oligopeptides-32 : A synthetic peptide containing 12 amino acids consisting of alanine, arginine, hisitidine, leucine, lysine, propline, serine, and tryptophan to stimulate elasticity and increase moisture.
