Cle De Peau Hydro-Softening Lotion is an essence lotion that increases skin’s resistance to dryness by locking in a surplus of enriched nutrients and moisture. While actively improving roughness and dryness, skin‘s water-retention capacity is increased, leading to strengthened skin.

I received 2 x 30ml travel sized of Cle De Peau Hydro-Softening Lotion, together with other travel-sized skincare products in a goodie bag from my participation in the Frasers Tower Vertical Challenge 2024 (39 floors, 1256 steps). 

This marks my first foray into Clé de Peau Beauté, a luxury Japanese skincare and makeup brand under the Shiseido group. Known for its fusion of cutting-edge science and refined elegance, Clé de Peau is all about elevating skin to its most radiant state. The brand places strong emphasis on skin intelligence, hydration, and luminosity which are often reflected in its luxe textures, premium ingredients, and exquisite packaging.

In this review, I’ll be sharing my experience with one of their best-selling skincare staplesthe Hydro-Softening Lotion. Does it live up to the brand’s promise of plump, glowing skin? Let’s find out.

After emptying Mary & May Tranexamic Acid + Glutathione Eye Cream, it was time to start using Filorga Intensive Revitalizing 3-in-1 Eye Contour Cream. 

It was my first foray into Filorga, a French skincare brand known for merging aesthetic medicine with advanced skincare science. Originally developed by a doctor specializing in anti-aging injectables, Filorga brings clinic-inspired formulas into everyday routines—infused with potent actives like hyaluronic acid, NCEF complex, peptides, and antioxidants.

Numbuzin No. 9 NAD Bio Lifting Full Cover Facial Mask contains 4 individual sheets in a set, including a fabric lifting band. It is clinically proven to improve 6 types of wrinkles (jawline, buccal fat, smile lines, neck, chin, cheek) in just 4 weeks. Said to reduce the appearance of enlarged pores and improve facial puffiness overnight after using the product for 8 hours.

I received a set of Hyaah products as part of a Stylekorean collaboration. They were Mild But Deep Cleansing Water, Licorice First Essence, All In One Ectoin Lotion on top of this Synergy Mask Pad.

Hyaah, pronounced as Hee:YA is a Korean skincare brand which is said to consist of good ingredients, honest processing and continuous research. 

As a skincare content creator, I believe in being selective with my collaborations — only those that genuinely align with my skin type, values, and what I feel will truly benefit my skin. This intentional approach not only helps me maintain integrity, but also allows me to create more thoughtful and meaningful content that you can trust.

Stylekorean x Hyaah invited me for a collaboration which I accepted because I need gentle, non-greasy and hydrating products in this humid climate like Singapore, for my combination-dehydrated skin type. Glad that their products do not disappoint, despite being my first foray into the brand.
