By Wishtrend Pore Smoothing Bakuchiol Sun Stick was my next sunscreen after emptying Skin1004 Hyalu-Cica Silky-Fit Sun Stick and Benton Mineral Sun Stick SPF50 PA++++ as I received this sun stick from a Wishtrend Seeding campaign last year.

Packaging, Scent and Texture
By Wishtrend Pore Smoothing Bakuchiol Sun Stick is an 18g stick-type chemical sunscreen that protects skin from UV damage with SPF 50 PA++++. It doesn't have any fragrance.
Just remove the cover, twist the base of the container to raise the stick, and swipe it all over your face thrice for sun protection. Thrice is my preference but it is best to layer a few rounds and I still apply a regular sunscreen after the sun stick.

Staying in humid Singapore with summer weather all year round, I like sun sticks for its convenience of additional sun protection. This sun stick has a soft semi-matte powdery finishing that left skin soft and silky smooth as prep for makeup application. There is no white cast. I prefer to use this sun stick as an additional sunscreen protection, during work-home-days or as a base for makeup instead of depending solely on it as a sunscreen. And for hygiene concern, I will use a tissue to wipe off the top of the sun stick after every use.

Butyloctyl Salicylate : Helps to increase the SPF rating and enhance the stability of other UV filters like Oxybenzone and Avobenzone. It is not reef-safe. Currently not registered as a sunscreen active yet.
Said to be the modified version of the chemical UV filter Octisalate which was created intentionally by the sunscreen industry to avoid having Octislate on the ingredient listing as a declared active and used by formulators to disguise the presence of a ‘chemical’ UV filter in mineral sunscreen formulas.
