I received complimentary L'Occitane Immortelle Reset Serum 5ml and L'Occitane Precious Overnight Mask 4ml from the L'occitane Big Little Things Recycling Campaign which I really appreciate.
While I enjoyed using their shower gels ( L'Occitane Cherry Blossom Bath and Shower Gel and L'occitane Almond Shower Oil ), their shampoos ( L'occitane Aromachologie Gentle & Balance Micellar Shampoo and L'Occitane Aromachologie Intensive Repair Shampoo ) weren't a good fit for me so I am glad to have a chance to try out their skincare products.
L'Occitane Immortelle Divine Serum is a lightweight serum that is filled with 3,000 antioxidant-rich Immortelle bubbles that provides stress-defense against sensitivity, dullness and fatigue during the day. How To Use :
This lightweight gel serum is so beautiful on appearance. Tiny golden bubbles of Immortelle essential oil that burst upon massaging on skin, leaving a smooth consistency for application. It has a lovely floral fragrance, although can be considered as overpowering to some.
Nourishing and moisturising, L'occitane Immortelle Reset Serum is lightweight and absorbed easily while leaving my skin soft and smooth. It helps to reduce flakiness by 50%, after a facial and in 3 days, all the flakiness were gone.
With prolonged use, my skin looked more rested, less tired and overall healthier. I brought it during my recent Desaru trip to combat the air conditioning in the night and it did help my skin to recover better from all the heat stress in the day. That said, it felt more moisturising than hydrating as my skin felt rough at times.
With one sold every minute worldwide and more than 2 million bottles used, that certainly tells alot about the product.

How To Use :
1) In the evening, apply to face & neck and let it sink in to work overnight.
2) Twice per week, apply a thick layer and remove the excess with a pad after 10 min.

L'Occitane Precious Overnight Mask has a rich bouncy-cream texture with a heavy fragrance that lingers after application. There is a shine on my combination skin which I don't fancy and with its cream texture, I prefer to use it on nights when my skin is in serious need of moisture ( ie. flakiness encountered after facial ) or sleeping in an air-conditioned room.
I prefer to use it on its own or after L'Occitane Immortelle Divine Serum. Overall, the overnight mask left my skin soft, smooth and healthy looking but I don't see myself repurchasing it.
