Product Description
By Wishtrend Hydra Enriched Ampoule is a hydrating ampoule that contains Aloe Vera Leaf Polysaccharide to keep skin moisturized for a long period of time. Refreshing moisture when applied once, replenished when applied twice, and fills the moisture barrier when applied three times. The watery and light texture does not leave any sticky feeling and is absorbed into the skin to layer in any step.
Hydrating products are a staple in my skincare routine as hydrating helps nourish the skin and fight off wrinkles, dry, itchy, aging skin and give the outer layer a healthy glow. Well-hydrated skin protect you from foreign substances that can accelerate the aging process, and skin with high water content prevents skin from becoming brittle, thin and appearing 'crepey'. Hydrated skin yields plumper cells, more space between layers, and less cracking and creasing, hence making lines and wrinkles less visible.
I haven't tried many By Wishtrend products and this is only my 3rd product from the brand, after By Wishtrend Active Boosting Essence and By Wishtrend Polyphenols in Propolis 15% Ampoule which I received as part of a collaboration event from Wishtrend.
Packaging, Scent and Texture
By Wishtrend Hydra Enriched Ampoule comes in a pretty blue box and in the blue box, is this frosted 30ml dropper bottle with blue hued watery contents. This blue hue comes from Malachite Extract, a mineral that helps improve signs of aging skin.
The Hydra Enriched Ampoule doesn't have a scent, has a subtle cooling sensation and absorbs quickly, leaving a slight tackiness that I don't mind since I will follow it up with a moisturiser.
How To Use :
1) After cleansing, prep the skin with the toner.
2) Dispense 3-4 drops of the ampoule and spread over the face.
3) Finish with the moisturizer.
Performance and Ingredients
Recommended for oily / combination skin, By Wishtrend Hydra Enriched Ampoule is a water ampoule with abundant polysaccharide that was carefully extracted from aloe.
Enriched with 70% aloe pulp to refresh skin, the Vegan and cruelty-free ampoule is also infused with malachite extract, sodium hyaluronate, allantoin, linseed extract and heartleaf extract to soothe skin.
It has a very lightweight texture that glides easily on skin and absorbed quickly, leaving a subtle tackiness in its place.
The ampoule hydrates well and layers beautifully with most products. I love pairing this with Allies of Skin Retinal & Peptides Repair Night Cream, as it combats the dryness (commonly associated with retinal or retinol products) yet doesn't add on to the shine on skin.
However, strangely, it stung on the hyperpigmentation spots on my cheeks occasionally.
The key ingredient is....
70% Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Polysaccharides : Contains great moisturising properties due to being rich in polysaccharides. The polysaccharides are highly hygroscopic (water-loving) and bind to moisture. On the other hand, its structure forms a protective film for the skin, which helps give it its healing properties. It also aids protection of the epidermis and the skin’s ability to restore itself. Some studies point to possible analgesic and anti-inflammatory activities of the gel; properties that would be particularly beneficial on skin wounds, burns and promotion of radiation damage repair.

Conclusion
To conclude, By Wishtrend Hydra Enriched Ampoule is a lightweight hydrating ampoule that works great for oily/combination skin in summer or humid weather. It pairs well with most products and hydrates skin sufficiently. That said, it stung occasionally on hyperpigmentation spots.
