Product Description
Dr. Hu Collagen & Seaweed Eye Treatment Mask contains Seaweed extracts to retain moisture and helps condition dry skin to reduce wrinkles.
Benefits :
- Lock in moisture
- Tighten
- Reduce dark circles
Along with getting Dr. Hu Bird Nest Peptides Collagen Eye Treatment Mask, I also purchased a box of Dr. Hu Collagen & Seaweed Eye Treatment Mask.
While there is truly no way to completely eliminate dark circles and eye bags as the reasons are multi-factorial and range from everything from genetics to lifestyle to age but topical products like eye masks can most definitely improve the situation, not to mention deliver a whole host of other benefits for tired, stressed out eyes.
Packaging, Scent and Texture
Dr. Hu Collagen & Seaweed Eye Treatment Mask comes in 12 patches in a box where 4 patches were stated as free and that translated to 6 pairs of eye masks.
It has a soapy rubbery scent which I do not quite fancy but its bearable. Tightly sealed in a silver foil, the pair of hydrogel eye patches has a glooey, cold and moist texture.
Black in colour, these eye patches reminded me vaguely of Mediheal Black Eye Anti-Wrinkle Mask, Sexylook Brightening Black Eye Mask, Sasatinnie Swallow's Nest Camellia Rejuvenating Black Eye Mask and Sasatinnie Black Pearl Caviar Nourishing Black Eye Mask.
How To Use :
1) After face cleansing, remove the eye mask hydrogel film from the foil packaging
2) Gently apply it to the under-eye part, and leave it on for 10-15 minutes to achieve the hydration effect.
3) Remove eye mask and discard it, then gently pat the eye zone to help the active ingredient to be fully absorbed by the skin.
note : It is recommended to use it once or twice a week.
Performance and Ingredients
Dr. Hu Collagen & Seaweed Eye Treatment Mask is said to retain moisture, condition dry skin to reduce wrinkles, replenish collagen to tighten skin, soften and smoothen skin and reduce dark
circle and dull skin.
Unfortunately, the hydrogel textured eye masks are slippery and tends to slip down very easily on the undereye area. Its annoying to be always adjusting the eye masks so its best to lie down while donning them as part of an eye spa session.
There was no difference after a 15 minute masking session so it won't be a repurchase.
In terms of ingredients, Dr. Hu Collagen & Seaweed Eye Treatment Mask contains the following...
Seaweed Extracts : Retain moisture and helps condition dry skin to reduce wrinkles.
Collagen : Revitalize, moisture and tighten skin.
Hyaluronic Acid : Soften and smoothen skin to reduce signs of aging.
Vitamin C : Added collagen to improve dull complexion.

Conclusion
To conclude, Dr. Hu Collagen & Seaweed Eye Treatment Mask has an unpleasant smell, slips easily and provides no difference to the undereye area. I would not repurchase this.
