I was excited to try the OSEA Vitamin Sea Boost after hearing so many positive reviews from the skincare community on Instagram. I'm also a fan of facial mist, so it's no surprise that I'd want to try this. So, how does this product fare?
This refreshing spray is said to deliver immediate hydration to dry and sun damaged skin. A potent blend of Pomegranate and Resveratrol gives this mist its beautiful colour as well as its anti-aging effects on skin. Organic Patagonia Gigartina algae stimulates cell renewal while hydrating, soothing and protecting your skin. Sounds like such a gem for the skin which one can't do without.
Stored in a frosted glass with a spritz that dispenses the mist in bursts, OSEA Vitamin Sea Boost does its job well in hydrating my skin, right after using the OSEA Ocean Cleansing Milk. However, I would prefer the nozzle to dispense the contents in a finer mist than the current bursts where I will need to spread it out on the skin with my hands. Perhaps it may fare better in its original retail size, as mine is in the 30ml travel size.
There was a time when I failed to adequately hydrate my skin (applying my skincare only once a day instead of twice a day), causing the edges of my nose to become red and itchy due to dehydration. A mist of OSEA Vitamin Sea Boost works wonders on my dehydrated skin, soothing it and reducing itching and irritation.
The Vitamin Sea Boost can be used throughout the day to cool, refresh and help skin retain moisture as well as to be used after applying makeup to set your foundation. However, I love using it as a toner, after cleansing, prior to applying the OSEA Advanced Protection Cream as a moisturiser.
Adding on to that, the thin tube that is connected to the spray for dispensing the mist, is able to reach all the way to the bottom of the bottle to get that last bit of product. No fuss. No mess. No waste.
I also like that they are pretty ethical about their claims. No fluff and key ingredients are found higher up in the ingredient list.
