Review : Odylique Creamy Coconut Cleanser

I purchased the Odylique Rose Gift Box during Christmas last year which consists of the Creamy Coconut Cleanser, Calming Rose Super Tonic and Timeless Rose Moisturiser. It was my first foray into the UK brand which is famed for producing natural skincare for sensitive skin that are free from synthetic chemicals and certified to strict Soil Association organic standards. Their Gentle Herb Shampoo is an award-winning product and is the first shampoo that ever achieved Soil Association approval.


I am really happy to have tried out this brand because the quality surpassed my expectations, in particularly, Odylique Creamy Coconut Cleanser. I can't gush enough over how much I love the coconut cleanser. It was love on 2nd sight.

100% natural and 87% organic, the cleanser contains actives such as calming and soothing rose, detoxifying lemon, soothing and cleansing coconut oil and rehydrating vitamin-rich extra virgin olive.

I was not too impressed with the cleanser initially, in terms of texture, smell and process. A creamy cleanser with a thin consistency, it feels gentle and less nourishing than expected so I was not expecting much. The smell is also not as pleasant as I thought, especially since the name implies coconut but it does not smell like coconut at all. However, I do like that there is no greasy or tight sensation after cleansing.

The explosive moment is when I used it the 2nd time. My face was so soft and smooth that its almost unbelievable! I did not expect a cleanser to be able to do so much, in that 5 minutes of cleansing morning and night. But oh whoa! it conditions my skin so beautifully and perfectly that I have to do a double take. I am so in love with the coconut cleanser. And it is definitely going into my holy grail list.

Odylique Creamy Coconut Cleanser can also acts as a make-up remover and eye make-up remover but I prefer to use it as a cleanser as I have a separate make-up remover for that purpose. It feels pretty gentle, so I am not sure of the effectiveness although coconut oil is famed for being a good make-up remover. Do leave your comments, if you have tried it! It scored a low hazard of 1 on EWG.
