Review : Etude House Correct & Care CC Cream SPF30 PA++

Product Description
Etude House Correct and Care CC Cream 8 in 1 is a multi functional skin correcting cream that creates a flawless complexion. It hydrates, primes, conceals, treats, and protects skin; everything you would need for perfect skin, in one product!  Not only does it offer anti-aging benefits, it relieves stressed/reddened skin, whitens, has SPF30 PA ++, and provides natural coverage with either a matte (01 Silky) or dewy (02 Glow) finish

Requested a friend to get the CC cream for me when she was in Korea as it is much cheaper over there. It costs me 14000won. At 35ml, it takes a long time for it to be used up. I have been using it for 6 months now, mainly on weekday mornings before I left for work. I tend to use it after sunscreen, because SPF30 in Singapore is still not enough, and one doesn't apply enough to get the full SPF30 protection that is much needed on our skin.

Etude House Correct & Care CC Cream SPF30 PA++ provides anti-aging benefits, hydrates, smoothens, brightens and has UV protection for the skin. Available in both silky and glowing finishing, I bought mine in 01 which is the silky formula as I thought a glowing formula may be too much for wearing to office.

CC Cream

The silky formula, as what it claims, has a smooth and silky finishing, without any shimmers on it. It has a light silicon-laden texture, with a lightweight consistency. White in colour, the CC cream oozes out from the pump dispenser easily and for a fleeting moment, I thought I may look too "white".
Despite being white in colour, the CC cream actually has some tiny black dots in it which seemed to be color capsules that will change colour to fit your skin tone.
So my concerns on turning too pale were unfounded, as the formula changes colour once it gets into contact with the skin and blended well, turning it into a tinted shade with a pink undertone.

With a sheer coverage, it doesn't quite conceal redness or blemishes but helps to even out the skin tone, leaving your skin looks better. So I would not recommend it for those who are looking for heavy coverage or those who require blemishes to be covered.

On my fair skin, with slight redness on the chin area, it brightens up my skin slightly and while it brings a healthy glow to my skin but on redness, it just doesn't do anything to it. The oil control is moderately well as my combination skin oils up after 5 to 6 hours which is normal for me.

The product scored 2.7 from 12 users on Makeupalley.
