Luxasia Warehouse Sale + Strawberrynet Haul + Sephora Sale
Friday, October 31, 2014
There was a Luxasia warehouse sale recently and I have been pretty disciplined in getting the products since they are not natural and some of their products are about 9 months away from their expiry dates. However, if you do not mind and think that you can use up the contents within their stipulated period, then their warehouse sale is certainly worth a visit.
Aveda Be Curly Curl Enhancing Hair Spray $13
La Clinica Soothing Moisture Replenishing Mask $10
Decleor Life Radiance Flash Radiance Mask $37
Yves Rocher Anti-Slackening Supra Lift Mask $15
Payot Comforting Repairing Care Mask $33
Marc Anthony Strictly Curls Cream $19.90 less 20% ( from Watsons )
Bliss Love Handler $25.50 ( from Strawberrynet )
Talika Eye Dream $30.50 ( from Strawberrynet )
There was a Sephora 20% discount sale and I was won over by the promoter at "My Beloved One" (with her product knowledge) which lead me to some purchases.
For Beloved One Soothing Cleansing Liquid $28.80 (down from $36)
For Beloved One Red Wine Antioxidant Night Jelly $62.40 (down from $78)
Fresh Black Tea Instant Perfecting Mask $70.40 (down from $88)
For Beloved One Eye Mask (complimentary)
In the month of October, there were some promotions on organic/natural products which made me pick up an eye mask from Breathe at Adonica Kube. A relatively unknown brand, I am attracted to the eye mask and decided to get it since there is a 15% discount. The website did not state the size but I definitely didn't expect it to be just 15ml when I self-collect from the store. On the site, it states as $66.60 but in the store, it is at $67, which is not very ethically brought up, when I emailed to the site to ask if it is possible to self-collect since I don't see any point in paying $7 for shipping.
I am actually pretty disappointed with the level of service in the store. The lady, despite knowing I am there to get an eye mask ( after being informed by her boss via email ) has a difficult time in locating the eye mask and told me there is no such product initially. Thereafter she lets me try an eye balm, then told me she mistakenly thought that was the product I wanted. Next, she is not trained in using the cashier and has to enlist the help from another lady in another shop. Finally, she has forgotten to input the 15% discount when I have reminded her about it, prior to the purchase.
At 15ml, as an eye mask, I thought it is way over-priced but I certainly hope the quality will be worth its very penny. She has provided me a cleanser and a mask sachet sample where the cleanser sachet won me over with its gentle texture and I promptly put in a request for an order.
With that order, I thought I will just provide a feedback to the store, as I personally feel that it will be waste for good products not to get out to consumers due to a lack of product training.
I am certainly not expecting any further replies other than the usual thank you because that is what the norm is and at worst, no replies at all. However, I am bowled over by the excellent service and attitude I received via email, the best I ever receive so far. Making an effort to clarify, despite I am being just that one single customer who bought 2 products only - that the lady was a relief staff and that the price difference was due to the updates being done wrongly by their IT support. Offering free delivery as well as recommending their product expert to explain products on the phone, should I require it. I am now a satisfied and happy customer. Certainly hoping that all other brands can follow through with such excellent commitment to customers.
Breathe Timeless Eye Mask $56.95 (down from $67)
