Review : Naruko Raw Job's Tears Supercritical CO2 Whitening Toner

Product Description
NARUKO Raw Job's Tears Supercritical CO2 Whitening Toner is made of the selectively chosen organic Raw Job's Tears grains from Nantou, Taiwan, where the most advanced supercritical CO2 extraction technology is located. The raw ingredients of Raw Job's Tears help to moisturize and whiten skin and to increase its ability to absorb moisture.
Along with the raw ingredients of Raw Job's Tears, the toner is formulated with Vitamin C Ethyl, Vitamin C Glucoside, antioxidants, and grape leaf extract to help correct the skin tone and reduce the appearance of the dark spots/melanin. These ingredients work with snow fungus extract to whiten and hydrate the skin. The Whitening toner also helps to prevent aging and provides antioxidants to the skin.

I am always interested to try out Naruko products, especially since Niu-er is famed for taking very good care of his own skin. However, this whitening toner simply has a long ingredient list. It certainly do contain a number of ingredients from the Dirty Dozen. A number of fragrance and preservatives are present though its further down in the list which meant a lower concentration.

That said, lets delve into the product itself. The red bottle is slighly opaque but you can still see the amount of contents in it. The small opening is just right for a toner usage. Once opened, it has to be used up within 6 months, certainly not a problem if you uses it everyday.

You can use it as a regular toner or as a lotion mask where you pour it onto cotton pads, spread it thinly on the face. Initially, the whitening toner causes some stinging effect on my skin but after a few times of usages, the stinging effect disappears. Read more about the steps here.

Alternatively, you can also do some massage, while using the product.
Refer to the massage steps below.

The whitening and antioxidant ingredients supposingly helps to nourish and brightens the skin tone although as with all whitening products, you do need some time to see the effect on the skin.

The main ingredient, Raw Job's Tears, appears in a number of whitening products but I first came across it in Naruko's products. It is also known as Barley.
Its main function is to hydrate, soften and soothe the skin. Defends against UV and envrionmental damage.

I can't say that my skin have reaped significant benefits from it but it does brightens up my skin slightly.

As with most of Naruko products, the box can be recycled to something useful.
