Rose distillate, also called rose water is derived from rose petals. Rose distillate has soothing, astringent and cleansing properties. It stimulates blood circulation in fine capillaries, helps to minimise the appearance of scars, micro-wounds, sunburn and wrinkles. Provides the natural and delicate aroma of roses.
Birch extract is obtained from leaves of the Betula alba tree. Known for its skin healing and purifying properties, yet it also functions as an astringent. Anti-inflammatory and skin soothing abilities. Combats hair loss and dandruff.
Cranberry extract is obtained from whole Vaccinium nacrocarpon berries. Cranberry extract stimulates the natural skin renewal process, thanks to the high concentration of vitamin C. Extract contains organic acids than boost the ability of skin to absorb the necessary nutrients.
There was an online promotion with 35% off and I managed to get it at $17.55 each at 250ml size, which was quite a steal.

Enriched With Baltic Botanicals - Linden Flower, Chamomile, Birch, Plantain, Hop and Cranberry, this product is ideal for normal hair type. The Gloss and Vibrancy Shampoo contains a shine enhancing formula that gently cleanses and strengthens hair while keeping the scalp calm and prevents dry ends.
After a bad colouring job in early October, I have been using this set of hair shampoo and conditioner to cleanse and provide the much-needed nutrients to my hair filled with kinks. In the past, I usually purchase shampoos meant for damaged hair but decided to choose one for normal hair, this time round. Reason being, I have attended a beauty talk where the speaker shared with us that shampoo is for the scalp and conditioner is for the hair ends so choose what is appropriate. Even though my scalp is oily at times, but getting a shampoo meant for oily hair sounds abit too much for my hair to take it, hence I chose one for normal hair.
The initial phase of cleansing my hair have been a nightmare due to the bad colouring job, as my fingers could not even move much within my hair, since its full of tangles and kinks. The persistent usage of the shampoo brought slight relief to it.
Citrus in colour, the shampoo has a runny texture but does not lather much hence I tend to use more. I cannot comment much on the voluminous effect, if any since I do have thick hair. However, it does provide some shine to my hair, giving it a slightly glossy look, but then again, it could also be due to my hair being black, instead of coloured, so the appearance of the hair looks much healthier.
After about 70% of usage, I noticed more hair strands dropped easily, with just my fingers running through my hair. Scary indeed.
Product Description
Rich and creamy conditioner with Northern Nettle and Quince deeply nourishes and repairs dry, damaged hair. Helps prevent breakage and split ends. Hair becomes silkier and easier to style.
Active Ingredients
Avocado, Quince, NettleAvocado oil is a natural emollient that has the ability to be deeply absorbed into skin, supplying it with valuable oil-soluble antioxidants, components of vitamins A and other active ingredients. Avocado oil has moisturising, healing, antibacterial, and wrinkle-preventing properties.
Quince extract is obtained from fruits of Pyrus Cydonia. Quince extract has skin soothing and hydrating effect. Contains organic acids that have slight skin whitening and brightening properties. Quince acids smooth hair fibres, making hair softer and adding shine.
Nettle has a rich source of A and E vitamins which are strong anti-oxidants. Contains valuable minerals whose elements nourish and protect skin.
I used the conditioner religiously after the bad colouring job as I desperately needed to get rid of all the kinks from my hair. While it did slightly soften the hair and remove some of the kinks but it hardly do much to provide silkiness to the hair.
White in colour and creamy in texture, it coats the hair well, but did not provide the much needed nourishment and repair to my hair. I am not too impressed with the conditioner.
