Korres Wild Rose Moisturiser is widely popular. If you heard of Korres, you are bound to hear of this moisturiser. I picked up the local magazine, purely just for this moisturiser which is a 10ml GWP.

Not a fan of heavy texture, I was not too keen to get the retail size without trying it so the 10ml size was a good trial period for me. I am dismayed to find out that it contains alcohol.

Recommended for normal to dry skin, I have been using the moisturiser as a daily day moisturiser for the past 3 weeks even though I have normal to combination skin with surface dehydration. The product is lightly scented, with a white thick creamy texture. I do find it difficult to glide on dry skin so I prefer to spritz my skin with Avene Thermal spray, prior to using it. Moisturiser, in general absorbs better in damp skin. Skin feels soft, smooth and supple but still, its not hydrating enough for me under the daily air-conditioned office I am working in. So I topped it up, with a Naruko hydrating serum before the moisturiser.

I like having Vitamin C in my skincare products so I was really looking forward to using this famed moisturiser however it did not really meet my expectations, in terms of hydrating and brightening effects. Other than that, it also contains alcohol as well as giving the face a "shiny" look after application though it can be rectified with the correct make-up products. The added SPF 6 is a very slight bonus but not enough to protect our skin in our humid weather. In fact, I do think SPF 6 is a joke.

I have fairly sensitive skin with a tendency to turn red under extreme weather conditions and this product made my cheeks turned red during the very first inital usage but disappeared with time and never come back.

While its commendable that it contains 85.1% natural contents and does not include petrochemicals, mineral oil, silicones, parabens, sulphates, or synthetic dyes, it contains alcohol.

On Makeupalley, the product scored 3.8 from 172 users.

Hi Audrey,
Alcohol is a big No-No to me. I won't be purchasing the retail size.
