I had tried Clarins Gentle Refiner Exfoliating Cream with Microbeads back in 2012 and was recently gifted a travel sized of this scrub as a Christmas gift with a slightly different name - Clarins Gentle Refiner Exfoliating Cream with Natural Microbeads.

The 50ml travel sized of Clarins Gentle Refiner Exfoliating Cream with Natural Microbeads comes in a white tube. Strongly scented with Clarins' signature scent, this exfoliating cream is creamy in texture with tiny exfoliating beads enveloped within it.
How To Use :
1) Warm a small amount of cream in the palms of your hands.
2) Apply to clean, damp skin, avoiding the eye contour area.
3) Remove with light, circular movements.
Performance and Ingredients
It’s good to glow! Clarins dual-action microbeads — with soothing Mimosa
extract — makes a clean sweep of dull, flaky surface cells while
tightening pores. Skin is said to emerge fresh, smooth and refined. Twice a week
delivers the most radiant results.
Back in 2012, I received a complimentary 30ml size during a Clarins' members party and having a friend who's a big fan of this facial scrub, it did raise up my expectations. I liked the product back then, as it left my skin smooth and clean with smaller pores. However, it was also slightly abrasive when used on dehydrated and sensitive skin days.
Fast forward to today, I am still not a fan of its strong scent but I enjoyed the super smooth skin after exfoliating with the cream. Skin looked brighter if I have not used the scrub for a long while, so I can only presume that dead cells were indeed removed to reveal brighter skin.
This Gentle Refiner Exfoliating Cream may come across as slightly abrasive especially for those with sensitive skin so use it sparingly.
It was slightly drying on the body though, which was surprising as my body is usually less sensitive and less dry than my face. That said, this was never meant for the body so I can't fault it.
Clarins Gentle Refiner Exfoliating Cream uses dual action microbeads which consists of both exfoliating and refining microbeads. The exfoliating beads gently lift impurities and removes dead skin cells while the refining beads tighten enlarged pores, resulting in a smoother skin texture.
Unfortunately, I don't have the full ingredient list as its not printed on the travel-sized edition and its also not stated on Clarins' website.

If you are a fan of physical scrubs, then you might like Clarins Gentle Refiner Exfoliating Cream with Natural Microbeads for giving you super smooth skin. Use it sparingly for those with sensitive skin. However, the strong scent may be a deterrent for some.
