Kerastase Chroma Absolu Anti-porosity Strengthening Conditioner System is a powerful anti-porosity strengthening conditioner for all types of sensitised or damaged colour treated hair, mostly adapted for fine to medium fibre. This lightweight rose cream sublimates and hydrates hair for a soft touch and a brighter and shinier longer lasting hair colour.

How To Use :
1) Apply a hazelnut sized amount on washed and towel-dried hair.
2) Massage through mid-lengths and ends, avoiding roots to ensure lightweight volume.
3) Leave in for 2 to 3 minutes.

After emptying L'Oreal Absolute Repair Molecular Rinse Off Serum, it was time to try out Kerastase Chroma Absolu Anti-porosity Strengthening Conditioner System. Both products were gifted by my aunt.
I used the Kérastase Chroma Absolu Anti-Porosity Strengthening Conditioner as a pre-shampoo hair treatment to soften my tresses before shampooing. Using a conditioner before shampoo helps prepare the hair, making it easier to detangle while providing an extra layer of nourishment for dry or colour-treated hair.
The version I tried was a 75ml travel-sized product, while the full-sized version comes in a 200ml bottle. The conditioner has a rich yet creamy texture that coats the hair evenly. The powerful yet lightweight formula is ideal for fine to medium hair types, leaving the hair smoother without feeling weighed down while helping to strengthen the strands.
Once applied, it envelops the hair, leaving it feeling soft, smooth, healthy, and more manageable. The scent is quite strong and gives the feeling of stepping out of a professional salon after a hair treatment.
As part of the Chroma Absolu range designed for colour-treated hair, this conditioner claims to help protect hair colour while strengthening porous hair strands. However, based on my personal experience, I did not notice a significant difference in colour longevity when using this conditioner.
My hair colour faded at a similar rate regardless of whether I used the conditioner or skipped it. While it performs well as a smoothing and softening conditioner, I did not find it particularly effective in extending the lifespan of my hair colour.
Overall, my experience with the Kérastase Chroma Absolu Anti-Porosity Strengthening Conditioner was positive in terms of hair softness, smoothness, and manageability. The conditioner performs well as a lightweight yet nourishing conditioner for fine to medium hair, helping to smooth the hair cuticles without leaving any heavy or greasy residue.
My hair felt softer, easier to detangle, and healthier-looking after each use.
