I received a complimentary PHS Hairscience RES Repair Shampoo with my recent purchase and decided to put it to the test after finishing my PHS Hairscience PRO Shampoo Stem C+ Calming Shampoo. I’ll be honest, I used to be pretty carefree with my shampoo choices, switching between whatever was interesting in the market and assuming my thick hair could handle anything.

But things changed when I noticed visible thinning at my hair crown. That was when haircare suddenly became serious, and choosing the right shampoo for hair fall prevention became a priority. PHS Hairscience Res Repair Shampoo delivers a thorough cleanse with a satisfying lather that effectively removes buildup without overwhelming the scalp. I did notice the occasional hair fall during washing which is normal but overall, hair fall remained manageable throughout my usage.

For those with dry or damaged hair, the formula may feel slightly drying at the ends, so pairing it with a nourishing rinse-off conditioner is highly recommended to keep the hair smooth and tangle-free.

While the shampoo did not worsen my scalp sensitivity, it also didn’t reduce the scalp redness I typically experience. That said, I’m relieved that it didn’t trigger additional hair fall, and my hair remained soft, manageable, and easy to style after each wash, a reassuring result for anyone dealing with thinning hair concerns.
