Packaging, Scent and Texture

Rovectin Forever Young Biome Ampoule is housed in a 50ml glass dropper bottle with a thick milky texture and a cooling sensation. It has no scent but has a subtle tackiness that took awhile to disappear.  

However, due to the thick texture of the ampoule, it tends to overflow each time I place the dropper back to the bottle and screw it tight hence the bottle neck has to be cleaned regularly. The overflow issue stopped only when the contents are nearing to the last 30% of the bottle. 

Rovectin has to fix this fundamental issue though, as it produces way too much wastage. 

How To Use :

After applying a toner or essence, massage a generous amount to the face and neck. This product can be used day or night in your skincare routine.

Performance and Ingredients

Highly recommended as a starter anti-aging ampoule to tackle signs of aging skin and preserve your youthful complexion, Rovectin Forever Young Biome Ampoule is EWG Green graded, 100% Vegan, Plant-based Probiotics included (Coconut sugar, Soybean), cruelty-free and is said to be the first oil-free anti-aging ampoule with light texture yet with deep hydration.

It includes 7 different layers of Dual Biome Complex (Pre+Probiotics) to restore skin barrier with deep hydration and reduce fine lines. Anastatica Hierochuntica Extract (Rose of Jericho) is a plant that blooms with just a single drop of water in the dry desert and provides long lasting moisture in skin. Also Eggplant fruit extract helps calm irritated skin and improves uneven skin tone.

Products containing Lactobacillus Ferment tend to take awhile to exhibit results on my skin so I wasn't anticipating too much when I first started using it. 

There was a subtle tackiness that didn't seem to fade away, but it wasn't a major issue for me since I usually follow up with a moisturizer. However, I found that it wasn't hydrating enough for my skin type, and I even experienced a zit after using it for the second night. Thankfully, the blemish disappeared within a few days. 

Despite these setbacks, I decided to stick with the ampoule, and on optimal skin condition, I noticed clear and fresh looking skin the following morning.

Do note that Rovectin has changed the packaging of the product to a lighter packaging in a 30ml size.

The 7-layer Dualbiotic Complex are

- Bifida Ferment Lysate : Protects potential skin damages from UV rays and helps regenerate damaged skin cells. Gentle exfoliation of skin brings out radiant and even-toned skin while improving skin elasticity.

- Lactobacillus Ferment Lysate &  Lactococcus Ferment Lysate : Revitalizes enzymes that prevent and treat signs of aging and provides a lift on your skin.

- Xylose & Fructooligosaccharides : Polysaccharide of Prebiotics that feeds Probiotics

Conclusion

To conclude, Rovectin Forever Young Biome Ampoule has a light milky texture with a subtle tackiness and dewy glow. It is less hydrating than what my skin needs but on optimal skin condition, this ampoule provides me with clear and fresh looking skin the following morning.
