I redeemed a 15ml sample of the Neutrogena Deep Clean Make-up Cleansing Oil recently and has been using it as make-up remover for makeup or sunscreen alone. Thereafter I will follow up with my regular cleanser.
I am someone who prefers using cleansing water as its easier to remove eye makeup, as compared to using oil around the eyes. As such, if cleansing oil is my make-up remover, I will only use it on the face and use a separate eye make-up remover to cleanse away my eye make-up.
Made in Korea, Neutrogena Deep Clean Make-up Cleansing Oil has a fruity scent, is clear in colour but turns into milky white once its in contact with water. I use it on dry skin and massage all over my face, add water to emulsify and then cleanse it all over the face again.
The cleansing oil left my skin feeling clean, without any tightness. I don't use it around the eyes so I can't comment on its effectiveness. Note that the first ingredient is mineral oil so it may not be suitable for those who are sensitive to that ingredient.
