Each box of Glamglow Brightmud Eye Treatment contains 12 individually packed pods which reminds one of a daily disposable contact lens pack - one compartment for each eye, similar to how the contact lens pack is.
Formulated without parabens, sulphates and phthalates, this eye treatment is said to minimize puffiness, dark circles, and fine lines while brightening and hydrating the eyes. All within 3 minutes. Sounds unbelievable? It certainly does, but at $6 per mask treatment, I am willing to give it a go.
Peel off the foil from the pod and scoop out the contents out to layer it on the undereye area.
Soft and creamy in texture, the cream is like a mud formula, brown in colour with tiny grainy black and brown specks in the contents.
There is a slight tingling sensation during the initial application which seems to provide some temporary tightening effect. Cooling, comfortable and refreshing and fine lines are slightly minimized at times but that's about it. No WOW effect at all.
It is recommended to remove it with a soft tissue paper after 3 minutes and I have tried it both ways - with and without water but the results are still not as spectacular as what the expectations are.
