With its distinct Biotherm fresh scent, the serum has a light to medium consistency that appears lightweight yet provides that much needed hydration. It does not feel greasy and sinks into the skin pretty quickly. To combat the harsh winter dryness, I feel that it works better if used as a set with the essence prior to the serum application and to pair with its moisturizer thereafter.
However, the ingredient list contains alcohol as its 3rd ingredient.
