Wild Rose oil is a natural source of vitamin C, which demonstrates significant repairing activity to fine lines and skin marks. I picked up this 16ml whitening mask from the beautiful country, Greece. Korres is so much cheaper over there than in Singapore. Containing 93.3% natural contents, this is a creamy white mask that looks creamy but is actually thin in application.
It has a similar scent to that of the moisturizer with the same name, which reminds me of some strong spices. The texture is runny and has a cooling sensation. After 15minutes of treatment, it left the skin feeling soft and smooth, with an immediate brightening effect. However, it stings my skin at times, especially on dehydrated parts of my face.
According to Paula, the brightening effect may have come from the titanium dioxide which will usually leave a white cast on the skin and not from the small amount of Vitamin C.
In addition, Vitamin C is an ingredient that needs to be used daily on the skin and not just leaving it on the skin.
