Sulfate free, paraben free and phthalate free, I received 2 sachets as part of my A'kins hair products purchase which I brought it along for my Taiwan trip to be used for the first 2 days. Enough for just 4 usages across 2 days, its difficult for me to determine the exact efficacy of the product.
However, I am glad to know that all [Akin] products are free from sulfates, parabens, ethoxylated and petrochemical cleansers, propylene glycol, silicones, phthalates, mineral oils, DEA & artificial colours and there is no animal testing involved. It has a natural scent, probably a mixture of the lavender and anthyllis but nothing I hate. I like using leave-in conditioner for convenience sake. This Akins conditioner does the job fine, helping to slightly de-frizz the hair making it look slightly better and less like a mad woman. The curls feel more defined though I have to admit that I am also using another scrunching spray at the same time I am using this.
