Review : HABA Squalane Oil

HABA Squalane Oil Review

Product Description
HABA’s Squalane is 99.9% pure; it is so pure and lightweight that it gets absorbed quickly without leaving any greasy residue. Squalane in the skin is lost as we age, causing fine lines and wrinkles to appear. Squalane naturally replaces this lost moisture leading to smoother, finer skin.

Squalane can help acne sufferers by curbing excess oil production. Its anti-bacterial properties can treat eczema prone skin. It can also be applied to hair to condition and strengthen it. Over time, Squalane can treat scars, dark spots and sun damage. 15ml $29 / 30ml $49 / 60ml $90 / 120ml $185

As the last step in my skincare regime, after White Lady and VC Lotion, Squalane Oil is said to be multi-purpose, which can be used for skin, body, nails and hair, to provide the much needed moisture as well as treating scars, dark spots and sun damage.

It is recommended not to over apply Squalene as the ideal skin moisture-oil balance is a generous amount of moisture plus a little oil. Spread them on the palms and press them lightly on moist skin.

HABA Squalane Oil has a heavier texture than White Lady and VC Lotion which explains why it is the last step in the skincare regime. Even though it looks and feels greasy, the Squalene oil absorbs into skin after a short while after application

I tend to get overzealous and apply more than required, which left me with greasy and shiny skin. I still require some practice to get the ratio just right enough for my skin type. One drop is recommended yet I feel that it is insufficient to hydrate my skin. Anything more, it left my skin looking shiny.
