Review : Naruko Aqua Cubic Jelly Lotion EX

Product Description
This lotion is unique for its rich texture. It instantly turns into liquid after application, pumping moisture and providing long-lasting hydration to the skin. Skin is softened and hydrated with a soothing, refined texture.

Benefits: Instantly hydrates, softens, and soothes dry skin.

I stumble upon Naruko Aqua Cubic Jelly Lotion EX while shopping in JB late last year and have been using this on an on-off basis because the effect isn't too impressive. Even though Naruko products are affordable, but not all work particular well on my skin or perhaps the range that I picked is not suitable for my skin type.

Naruko Aqua Cubic Jelly Lotion EX has a gelly-lotion texture with a heavy rose scent that dispenses via a pump nozzle. When I use it as a lotion mask either with 5 cotton pads over my skin or soaked in paper capsule masks and layered on my skin, there isn't any spectacular improvement after each treatment.

I move on to using it as a lotion, after cleansing and again, it disappoints in not providing that much needed hydration to my skin. My skin becomes dehydrated, flaky and rough, after sleeping in an air-conditioned room. Perhaps I have too much expectation from this product.

While it seems to drench the skin with moisture, it doesn't seem to penetrate deeply into the skin to provide long lasting moisture that is much craved after, from dehydrated skin. It is a medicore product, for normal daily maintenance. At times, it also irritates my skin, especially at the sides of my nose, making it red, raw and dry.

Hi Tiffany,

Yes, I bought from Lovelula before, about 4x. It typically takes about 3 weeks to reach me. The final price I paid, tend to be lesser than the listed price, due to their VAT refund, online discount code ( try here : http://www.retailmenot.com/view/lovelula.com ) and with frequent purchases, you also get points which you can later offset with it.

Ha, same idea, I wanted to get the RMS concealer previously but it was sold out, so I bought the loose powder instead, which is another raved product. Singapore also sell RMS products, but after VAT refund and online discount, the online price is cheaper, but you may still want to compare first, before purchase as there may be sales in Singapore at times.
Happy Shopping!

Dear Agnes,

Thank you! may i know if we need to "do something" to get the VAT refund or they will deduct from your final amount knowing you are Singapore at the shopping cart?

happy shopping too !

Hi Tiffany,

Unfortunately, "Im not a robot" is generated by Blogspot so I have no control over it. In fact, I also have to go through that myself, when I am posting my comments like now. lol.

You don't have to do anything to get the VAT refund. If I remembered correctly, it will be displayed together with the final prices after you input Singapore as your destination during the checkout.

Btw, if you don't mind, please shop Lovelula from the banner link I placed, since you came to know it via my blog...hehe. Thanks alot!!
