I requested a sample sachet of the shampoo and conditioner for a trial from the site. It comes in a generous size of 7ml each, which gave me about 3.5 times of usages. If you have short or fine hair, you can probably utilize more from the sachet.
And because the texture of both the shampoo and conditioner is runny, I tend to use more than I intended too. It just flows out easily from the sachet.

The black rice scent hits me like a powerful punch. Its so strong and the scent lingers on the hair till the next wash. I can literally smell it the whole day and secretly wish that no one can smell it.

Black in contents, the shampoo made my hair straw-like. It lathers well and cleanse well but I didn't enjoy the process.
Adding on the conditioner which is light brown in colour did make it slightly better. The end result of my hair was manageable but not tangle-free. I didn't feel that my hair were sufficiently moisturised though.

I like that both the shampoo and conditioner has  short ingredient lists and are free from parabens, sulphates and artifical preservatives.

hi Agnes
oh dear, i don't why but i commented a few times but it didn't appear? like yesterday i commented with my choice of cleanser since you asked but it didn't appear under "Review : Mekhala Soothing Tamarind Facial Cleanser"

maybe u like to see if something is missed out?

i mentioned hado labo cleanser as my favorite and i used to use Paul and Joe but react poorly due to amara orange (citrus) and also share perhaps u can try avene gentle cleanser since this brand is also very reputable and their soothing serum and recovery cream is very kind to sensitive skin. just my sharing!

Hi Tiffany,
Not to worry, I think its working fine because I received your last comment to my cleanser post.
Sometimes I scheduled my posts to be posted daily but I may not log in on that day, so which may explain why I have not approved the comment submission.
Ha, you are an Avene's fan, aren't you? I also like the brand myself, may re-look into the brand again. Used to use some of their products in the past.
Have a great weekend!
